Sorry it's a little short - its a filler
Jo's POV
I walked out of Tiffany's room after leaving her with pictures and her diary. Hopefully things will fall into place for her soon. Poor Drake is a mess without her and thinks she'll never remember but I know she will but it will just take some time. I saw Rusty the other day when I was Gabe, he asked how she was and all I said was "Why not come and see for yourself?" he rubbed the back of his neck before replying
"Um Sorry Jo but Dakota doesn't want me talking to Tiffany right now while she's trying to remember things...she's worried she'll think something was going on between us?"
"Well it was wasn't it?" I say boldly and he looks at me
"Jo, Tiffany and I were friends. Nothing more" he sounded upset
"Well I know there was more going on but whatever" I watched as he went to talk again but I walked away calling over my shoulder
"Maybe you should drop by her room like you used too?" I walked home.
I know Drake is the guy she loves but I have a feeling that she could have been in love with Rusty too? It's only fair that they both get to stay in her life?
I go up to Tiff's room with a drink and food that my Mum asked me take up and I find her talking on her phone. She's laughing and her cheeks a pink. I knock on the door and she motions for me to come in. I sit down as she keeps talking, she sounds happy and is asking questions. Whoever it is keeps answering her and she nods "Look, I better go but call past tomorrow okay. I want to see you?" she smiles and then says good bye before hanging up.
She turns to me and I ask "Who was that?" she blushes a little and says
"Drake. I read all my entries in my diary and I want to know him again so I asked him a few questions from the pictures and entries I wrote in my diary. I was fascinated so I called and we got talking and well I asked him to come over so we could talk some more...." She laid back on her bed.
Flustered and happy, she quickly sat up and took my hands "Jo, he seems like a great guy. I can see why we were together but I'm a little confused ...." I looked at her
"With what?"
"Rusty? From my entries in my diary things were heating up and it seemed like I had feelings for him? Do you know if anything ever happened between us?" I sighed
"Yeah, you guys almost kissed a few times"
"Really?" she seemed shocked
"Jo, was I a skank?" I burst out laughing
"NO!" I say and I watch her face soften
"Oh good. I was starting to think I was secretly seeing Rusty behind Drake's back?" we both laugh
"No, Rusty is Drake's best friend who happens to live across the street and you are all good friends" she nods
"Oh I see, so he's the guy who keeps watching from the balcony over there?" she points towards Rusty house and I smile
"Yep, that's him"
"Oh" she said.
We got talking and I told her what has happened around here since we moved and how she meet Drake and Rusty. How I got with Gabe and how Mum and Dad don't mind us having boyfriends any more. She was shocked but we had a good laugh. Soon it was dinner time and Mum made me go downstairs to eat. I asked if I could bring ours both up to eat but she said no and brought up Tiffany's meal herself and ate with her. She said something about having to talk to her so I got to sit downstairs with Dad who seemed distant and busy on his laptop. So I ate and snuck up to Tiffany's room to listen in "We don't want you rushing into a relationship with either of those boys..." she was saying
"I know Mum and I won't. I've just asked Drake to come over so we can talk. From the pictures and things Jo's told me about him I seemed really happy with him"
"Yes, you were and moving too fast if you ask me" my Mum's voice got serious
"Mum if it's about the night before the accident. I already know" it went quiet and then they continued to talk but I didn't want to hear anymore.
My parents didn't want her to jump back into a relationship. I get that, she needs to heal still and get back to normal before anything else but to try and steer her away completely is wrong. Tiff was in love with Drake or Rusty and really she deserves to be happy but I was going to back off and let nature that it's course. Both boys know she's back and both can fight for her affection. Good luck to them both.
