I spin around and there he was, hands in his pockets with a greasy face talking to my parents with a perfect smile – hold up! Did I say perfect? I stare at the back of the chair in front of me “OMG!OMG!OMG!” I keep repeating as Jo laugh’s at me
“Well he sure has a cute smile! I think I’m going to like living across the road from him!”
“JO!” I snap at her slapping her arm.
She looks at me alarmed “What? I girl can’t look and tell her sister that a hot looking guy lives across the road?” she looks at me with her head tilted to the side
“Well Tiffany?” I glare at her by squinting my eyes at her
“Don’t!” I say harshly
“Don’t what?’ she asks innocently
“Jo please don’t!”
“Why TIFFANY do you think he’s hot too?”
“Jo!” I shout then I hear a knock on the window making me almost jump out of my skin.
I turn to see my Mum looking at me, motioning for me to get out of the car.
I sigh and look at Jolene who’s laughing her head off by now. I point at her “Don’t you dare say a word!?”
“Who me?” she asks innocently.
I roll my eyes as I open the car door only to be standing face to face with the cute hot guy from across the road. I felt my face heat up as I stare at him “Hi I’m Rusty. Rusty Grainger” he extends his hand out to me.
I look at his dirty hand before I take it in mine and shake “Tiffany Jenkins” I smile.
He smiles back “Well welcome to the neighbourhood” I grin
“Thanks” he lets my hand go and I can’t help but noticed the weird feeling he left in it after he’d let go.
I rub both hands together trying to make it stop when I hear “Hi! I’m Jolene. Tiffany’s little sister” I turn to see Jo, she’s come around the car with her hand out and a wide grin on her face.
I roll my eyes at her but she laughs. They shake “Rusty” he repeats to her, she nods
“Wow, you’ve got some grip there Rusty” he smiles and she returns it.
