Tiffany's POV
The other boys with their girlfriends went back to their tents, it didn't take long until you heard why. Brooke was trying on her moves with Rusty but he didn't seem to want her. He came closer to us and Drake gripped me tighter under the water "Hey" I said
"Hey, you going in soon?" I looked at Drake who shrugged
"Don't know man. What are you and Brooke up too?" he looked over his shoulder as Brooke made her way over, grapping Rusty and pulling him towards her
"Nothing" Brooke looked a little hurt with the way Rusty was acting so I thought I'd say something random
"So wasn't today nice?" Everyone looked at me weirdly
"What I was just making conversation" I say laughing.
Rusty kept watching me and I couldn't help but act a little shy around him, I mean I was naked under the water here and it was my first time doing this with guys around. I felt a little overwhelmed and out of my zone. Drake pulled me away from Rusty and Brooke, after noticing the looks we were sending each other. I was trying to make it obvious that I was looking at Rusty features but the way the moon lit up his face off the water he looked really cute, causing me to blush. Luckily it was dark and no one could see because that would be embarrassing. I watched as Brooke saw the looks we gave each other and she looked hurt "We might go hang over here for a while, alone okay guys?" Drake grabbed my hand under the water and he pulled me away from Rusty who was watching our ever move.
Drake pulled us around the side of some trees and he pulled me to him "So do you like Rusty?" he asked.
I was a little shocked, I mean were did this come from? Had he noticed? "What?" I asked
"Well you and him are always looking at each other or hanging out after I leave so do you like him?" I laugh at him
"I like him as a friend. Yes, but nothing more..." I pulled him to me so our lips were touching and whispered
"but I only have eyes for you Drake" I placed my lips on his and he wrapped his arms around me.
Everything about this kiss felt right. Our heads touch and he smiles "I have something for you back in the tent" I looked at him
"Really? What is it?"
"I can't tell you, it's a secret" I start to kiss with little pecks around his face, making him laugh
"I'm still not going to tell you" I stopped and looked at him and pouted.
Was Drake going to pull some more moves on me because we only have a day left and he's the only one who hasn't had sex? I started to worry because I didn't want to be pressured into anything I didn't want to do and it scared me to know he said he'd wait so why would he push me? Was I some sort of game? I couldn't help but think negative thoughts as we made our way back to shore. Drake must have noticed and squeezed my hand "You okay?"
"Yeah" I shot back, faking a smile.
After our swim Drake and I went to the tent and lay down. We got dressed into our sleeping clothes. I made Drake turn around so I could change. He just laughed when he reminded me that we just went skinny dipping so he got to see everything. I blushed at the thought but still made him turn around. After I was dressed and so was Drake we laid on the bed and cuddled up. We talked for a while when I yawned "Tired?" he asked and I nodded cuddling up more into his shoulder
"Tiff" Drake said softly in my ear
"Hmm" I say
"Can I ask you something?"
"Sure" I start to play with his fingers which were entwined with mine
"I want to ask..." he went quiet and I looked up at him, his eyes looking down at me
"Yeah?" I reply.
He started to move and made me sit in his lap so I was looking at him. He fumbled with something in his bag until he pulled out a small box. My eyes went wide, he wasn't going to propose was he? I'm too young, plus I don't know him that well? I start to panic and Drake realises and laughs at me "Tiff, settle down. It's not what you're thinking!" I take a deep breath and wait for Drake.
He looks nervous and shy, something I'm not used too with him "Tiff, I want to offer you this promise ring to prove to you how much I-I ..well I love you and want to be with you and I'll wait for you till the end of time is needs be but I really hope not" he laughs and so do I
"I'm just not ready right now but I promise one day soon" I kiss his cheek and he chuckles
"So will you accept my promise ring?" I smiled so wide, grabbing him and pulling him to me and kissing him passionately on the lips. "Yes" I whisper over his lips as I pull away.
He grabs my hand and puts the ring on. I look at it and smile "It's beautiful"
"Just like you" he complimented.
We kissed and cuddled for a while before I yawned again and Drake suggested for us to sleep, so I cuddle up to him and did just that.
I don't know what time we got up but I could hear voices so I slipped out of Drake's arms and let him sleep. I quickly changed and unzipped the tent and climbed out. Brooke and Rusty were up. Rusty was walking away with a cigarette in his hands while Brooke was trying to cook. Rusty kept walking even though Brooke was trying to talk to him, she turned to me "Can you ask him what he wants to eat? He's not talking to me?"
"Sure. I'll give it a shot" I walk over and down the path to find Rusty leaning against a tree, taking a drag of his cigarette.
I walked up and he glances over at me "Morning" I say happily
"Yeah, morning"
"What's going on? You and Brooke have a fight?" he took a deep breath in
"Yeah, sort of" I moved close to him and he looked at my had, were Drake's promise ring was now on my finger
"What's that?' he pointed to it
"A promise ring. Drake gave it to me last night"
"HMmmm" as all he said before taking another drag of the cigarette
"What's that suppose too mean?" I ask with my hands on his hips
"Oh nothing" he pushes past me and starts to walk further down the path away from me
"Rusty?" I called out, hoping that we were still friends?
