Tiffanys POV
I looked around and I couldn’t help but agree with Jo, this place was place was beautiful. The houses were large with huge gardens surrounding them. I noticed a large tree in the front yard and thought it’d be the perfect place for my swing. Yes, I have a swing but it’s a chair swing. I like to read so Dad bought it for me so I could actually read more outside and I loved it the moment I saw it assembled under the tree at our old house. I have some cushions I place on it and then I lay over it and it swings softly as I read. I’ve always liked books. I’m not a real talkative person, I’m sort of shy when I first meet you but once I get to know you, you can’t shut me up! Jolene, is the opposite, she can makes friends with everyone she meets. I guess that’s why she always got along so well with my friends. Not that she didn’t have her own because she did. You see we both were part of the popular girls at our old school. We wear the latest clothes as fashion is important these days and well our parents spoil us by buying everything we want so I guess you could say were those girls you’d hate at school but really we’re not that bad!
I follow Jolene into the house and she shows me every room on the ground floor. I loved every part of it so far, then my Dad walks in “Girls!” we both turn around “Yeah Dad?” I question
“I think you should be able to choose our own room”
“What wait, we get to choose which ever room we want?”
“Yep” we both didn’t even wait for the P to pop.
We both pushed past each other, fighting to get up the stairs first. I was after the room I’d seen from outside, it had a balcony so I knew it’d be the perfect room. Jolene went left at the top of the stairs as I went right and ran down the hallway “MINE!” I hear Jolene scream down the hallway
“Fine!” I called over my shoulder.
I looked at the 4 doors in front of me, which one to open first?
I go with my head and go for the first door, it’s a bathroom. K, that’s not it. I skip a door and open up the second door to relieve the biggest room I’ve ever seen. I ran over to the window and opened the curtains to just a window. Crap! I run back out and open he last door and that’s when I realise this was it, the room I could see from downstairs. I ran to the windows for it to relieve a balcony. I unlock the sliding door and walk out to the balcony. I grab the rails and look out. I can see down the street and the road that was almost in front of us. It actually faced the side of our block and neighbours. The huge tree in the front of the yard just swayed as the wind blew. I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath.
