Tiffany's POV

Dinner was beautiful and it was our first meal cooked meal. Jo was looking at me weirdly the whole time but I ignored her and just ate. Dad told us about his new job and how much it was different from the last office he worked in but he was enjoying it. Mum told him how we went to the school today and got uniforms and welcome packs, which remind me I need to, read over the weekend and study the map so I don't get lost. Then she announced that we were going shopping tomorrow and Dad just smiled knowing that we were all trying to move on and accept the fact that this was going to be our new home for a while. "Tiffany! I also put your name down for driving class" I snapped my head towards her

"Sorry, what? Did you say driving class?"

"Yeah, the last in the office said they offer a special class so you can get your learners and then you get your license to drive when finished. It's an elective I think 1 term worth. I thought you'd like it?" I smile

"Thanks Mum. That's great and yes I did want to do it since I've of age now which brings me to the question of are you guys buying me a car?" Mum smiles

"Of course honey but not until you have that license! Talking of cars my car arrives tomorrow on the truck so we might grab a taxi there to pick it up and then we can go shopping?"

"Sure, sounds good" I say

"Yeah that's cool Mum" Jo pipes up.

It's going to be a long day tomorrow so I finish up and stack up the dishwasher.

After dinner and me saying goodnight to my parents I make my way up to my bedroom. I turn on the desk lamp so the room is dim and I open up my balcony doors and go stand outside for a bit. I close my eyes and imagine myself flying in the breeze as it hits my face and I smile to myself. I open my eyes and look across the street over to Rusty's house. The lights are on downstairs but then I notice something across the way, it's figure and it's sitting outside smoking a cigarette. I can see the red end of the smoke lightening up as they take in a breath with it in their mouth. Then a puff of smoke would go up into the air. I watched this figure for a while until the cigarette gets thrown off the balcony and down into the street. The figure just sits there in darkness so I decide to go to bed. I didn't know who it was and really I didn't care. I close the door's locking them. I then open the window slightly above my bed so the breeze can come in and I climb into bed after changing and switching off my lamp. I let the darkness surround me before closing my eyes to sleep.
