SUMMARY
Alistair Graveswood has a gift, like his sister, mother and other members of his family.
He can see the dead.
It... isn't a gift he enjoys.
Sure, the ghost animals are cute, but the spirits of dead people are what Alistair hates about his gift. He hates the constant voices of the dead shrieking in his ears, demanding attention every second of the day. He hates how he can't go past the cemetery or hospital because of the overwhelming presence of death. He hates how he can't even enjoy his sleep, not when he wakes up screaming fifteen minutes later from nightmares of ghosts wailing and screeching in his sleep. He hates it.
