7. Mrs kelley.

Max rang the doorbell to Mrs Kelley's house, I offered to help, to get the information faster. But everyone agreed I should save my energy.

I was sitting in the car with Steve and Dustin as we saw max get invited in.

"Okay she's in." Steve stated.
"I'm missing collar bones not eyes" Dustin nodded.

"So, we gonna talk about it?" Dustin asked.
"Huh? Sorry talk about what?" Steve questioned.

"You know, when you went crazy earlier at the trailer park and practically threw yourself at Nance?" I exclaimed as I leaned forward from the middle back seat, into the front.

"Okay first of all that's not what happened." Steve defended.
"Pretty sure that's what happened." I shrugged.

"It was pretty public. There were like a lot of witnesses." Dustin helped.
"Are you implying that I still have a thing for Nance?" Steve started getting defensive.

"No, not implying...." I started.
"Stating." Dustin finished and I nodded in agreement.

"And as it relates to your steadfast refusal to date Robin it's pretty much the only logical explanation." Dustin added.

Steve and I shared a glance.
"That's not the only one and as for Nance I was just trying to protect a friend." Steve explained.

Dustin smirked.
"Bullshit!" I exclaimed with a laugh.

mea-" Steve started, but stopped when he saw me wipe the blood from my nose.

"Jesus I did not miss that." Steve shook his head.
I chuckled slightly.

"I just don't wanna find her with her eyes sucked out of her skull by this Vecna creep." Steve exclaimed.

"You're like bright red in the face right now." Dustin laughed and I joined.

"I'm not. I don't wanna talk about it. I'll punch you so hard your teeth will fall back out."

"Woah." I exclaimed.
"Too far." Dustin stated. I nodded in agreement.

"Not cool. Sorry." Steve answered.
"It's okay." Dustin nodded.
He and Steve fist bumped.

"Can, can you turn on the static?" I asked after a moment of silence.

"Why?" Steve questioned but Dustin just turned it on.

I closed my eyes and felt them start glowing, I crossed my legs and white smoke filled the back seats. My hair began to float.

I used all my strength, every last fibre to find Will, from this distance it was dangerous, but I had a bad feeling. Like he was in trouble.

I felt blood drip from both nostrils.
"Hey hey hey!" I heard Dustin and Steve faintly.
"Don't drain your energy!" Echoed through my head.

"Mike!" I heard Will yell.
I was in the void. I felt the cold water on my feet, in the dark empty space, I hadn't been here in a long time.

"Hey stop the car!" Mike yelled.
"What are you doing?" Will screamed.

I saw a police car driving away, Mike stood in the street watching it pass. I focused. El was in that car. Shit.

Will and Jonathan were watching this unfold from the curb.

"Oh no, oh no." Mike sighed.
"Mike, Mike!" I called.

I touched his shoulders to try get him to see me, but everything turned to smoke and disappeared. I had lost my connection.

"Mike! Will! Jonathan!" I screamed looking for them. Water splashing as I searched but I knew it was pointless.
