As I lay down in my bed I hear it,
"Find them."
I close my eyes, trying to fall asleep.
"Kill them."
I shoot up and look around. I jump off my bed and rush out to the hallway. I wait for a moment, trying to figure out where it came from.
"I will kill them."
I run off it the direction, footsteps echoing in my head. I reach a corner and look over my shoulder, only for my sanity. I turn around the corner and knock into a young man. I fall on my butt, and look up at him.
"Sorry," he says, holding out his hand, "I didn't realize someone was right around.."
"It's fine," I reply, "It's my fault.. I wasn't paying attention." I take his hand and he helps me up. He reminded me of someone I had only seen in pictures.
"Are you.. dead?" he asks, looking around.
"No," I say, "I'm just.. asleep. Are you hearing a voice?"
"Besides yours?" he sneers. 0
"A hissing one almost," I reply. He nods and grabs my elbow. He pulls me back around the corner and puts his hands on my shoulders.
"You don't want to know what is the owner of that voice."
"But I need to stop it," I argue.
"You cannot do anything about it, especially right now. It cannot see you and you can't touch it."
"I need to know what it-"
"No, Marigold!" He tightens his grip on my shoulders and I jump.
"How the hell do you know my name?" I try to take a step back from him, but he hold was to tight.
"Word gets around at Hogwarts, Potter," he growls, "Especially between dead people, we've got nothing else to do."
"Who did you hear it from?"
"A Weasley." I narrow my eyes.
"Which one?"
"Does it truly matter?" He takes his hands off my shoulders and I take a step back. He reaches his hand out and strokes my hair. I shiver.
"Well, if you know my name.. I should know yours," I tell him. He scoffs.
"Is that right," he snarks, "It's Tom.. Thomas Marvolo." I nod, trying to remember where I knew that name.
"What is that voice?"
"You don't want to know."
"I do."
"When your friend found it, he disappeared."
"Regulus?"
"Yes." My eyes snap up to his and I take a step towards him.
"Where is he?"
"I'm not sure," he teases. His eyes are filled with deceit. I roll my eyes and try to push him past him.
"You are not going that way," he yells, grabbing my shoulders and pulling me back.
"Fine," I snap, "I'll go to the library instead." I turn my back to him and start to walk off.
"Don't go out anymore without your guardian," he sneers. I walk off faster and his footsteps follow me.
"Don't follow any voices, Marigold."
"Whatever." I grumble. I knew that name from somewhere. I make my way to the library and throw open the doors.
"Those kids didn't shut that darn door again," Madam Pince complains, walking through me to close it, "and they've made it cold in here. Poor Miss Granger is going to freeze while studying." I rush off, when she's turns to walk back. I find Hermione, with her head laying on an open book.
"Mione," I whisper, forgetting that I wasn't actually here, "hey, wake up." I touch her shoulder and a pain shoots through my head.
"It goes through the plumbing."
I shoot back onto my back and I put my hand up to my eyes. Hermione was now sitting up, looking around frantically.
"Madam Pince," she says, "How long have I been here?"
"Almost two hours, Miss Granger," the old lady replies, "did you find what you were looking for?"
"No, but I've got to find my friends," she tell her, shutting all of the books and starts to put them away.
"Don't bother, my dear, I've got nothing to do right now anyways. I'll put them back." Hermione nods and walk to the door.
"Thank you." I follow Hermione out the door and she goes to the girls bathroom. I decide not to follow her in there, but to go back to the common room. When I was half way up the stairs, Gideon and Fabian stop me.
"We found him," Gideon says.

I follow the twins to the hospital wing. Regulus was laying on the ground next to Collin's bed. He was stiff as a board.
"Reg?" I ask, kneeling down to him. His silvery blues where glazed over and his hand was icy cold.
"He's been petrified," Fabian says, "He must have figured out what the monster was, and tried to find you."
"Maybe he can hear it too," I mumble to myself.
"We'll figure out how to fix him, promise." I nod and get up.
"At least we know where he is now," I state, "I have to go back to my dorm, dinner is in thirty minutes."
"Okay," Gideon says, giving me a quick hug, "If you need anything, just come find us." I nod and begin my walk to the common room. Tears start collect in my eyes. I wipe at my eyes, but that only makes it worse as tears run down to my chin. I get to my bed and curl up into a ball.
Regulus has to be okay. Oh Merlin, I don't know what I would do it he.. don't think about that, Goldie.
"Are you okay, Goldie?" Ginny was laying on her bed, with Snowflake and Midnight.
"Yeah," I reply, "Just stressed." Midnight jumps off her bed and onto mine. She cuddles right up to me.
"I understand that," Ginny replies, "I'm almost failing History of Magic." I nod and sigh.
"I'm not failing anything that I know of," I say, "But the.. events that are happening and all that. I can help you with History of Magic, if you'd like." Ginny smiles.
"That would be great, Golds," she says, as Midnight starts to purr.
"What time is it, Gin?"
"Five-thirty," she replies.
"We should get ready for dinner than," I grumble. I get up and Midnight meows at me. She hops up on my shoulder and bites at my ear.
"I'll come back, Midnight," I tell her, setting her down. She meows angerly and goes to lay with Snowflake. I check my face, to make sure my face isn't blotchy. Ginny and I walk down the Great Hall. Ara and Heather are already sitting at the table. With Cedric.
"Are you feeling better, Goldie?" Cedric asks. I nod and look at Ara.
"Have you been behaving yourself, Ara?" I ask. She nods as I sit next to Cedric.
"So when is your next date?" she asks, "So we can plan other things around it." Cedric chuckles and takes my hand under the table.
"I was thinking next weekend at sunrise," he offers, "I'll pick you up at your common room, if you'd like." I nod. He smiles and his face turns a little pink.
"That sounds nice, Ced," I tell him, as food appears on the table.
"I've got a question for you Cedric," Ara says, "you're a prefect, right?"
"Yes.. where is this going?"
"Could you get me into the Slytherin Common Room, by any chance?" Cedric frowns.
"No. I can get you around after hours though." I shake my head and Ara smiles.
"How about tonight?"
"Yes."
