"The levitation charm."
"Wingardium Leviosa!" A piece of parchment from Flitwick's desk flies up slowly.
"Wand lighting!"
"Lumos." My wand lights up and the parchment falls down slowly.
"Extinguish."
"Nox." The light fades quickly.
"Fire-Making."
"Incendio." The parchment, still floating in the air, catches on fire and burns up quickly.
"Soften this rock."
"Spongify." Flitwick picks up the rock and throws it on the floor. It bounces to me.
"Perfect, alright.. that will be all. You are the best Charms student that I have ever had the pleasure of teaching."
"Thank you, Professor." He smiles.
"I will grade your exam and give your results to the Headmaster." I nod, and head to Astronomy. I sit in the Astronomy Tower and take my exam. When I get to the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, Snape is waiting for me.
"Oh, Professor Snape," I say, "Are you doing my Defense exams?"
"Expelliarmus!"
"Protego." My wand stays stiffly in my hand. Snape smirks.
"You have read ahead.. your mother would be proud." I smile and he hands be a piece of parchment.
"I would like to inform you that your Potions exams grade is extraordinary." I smile and take out a quill.I hand Snape my exam.
"May I ask why you know the shield charm?" My eyes snap up to his, slightly embarrassed to explain.
"When I was in the Chamber, it was terrifyingly easy for Riddle to disarm me and I don't want to be put in that position again. I thought it would be okay."
"You made a wise decisions, and hopefully you will never need to be in a similar position." I smile.
"Yes, sir. Is there anything else I need to do?"
"No, go see Madam Hooch for your Flying exam."
"Yes, sir! Thank you." I rush off to the flying grounds. Madam Hooch is talking with Rachel and Heather when I get there.
"Flying gets better with practice Miss Issac, Miss Davis, do not worry." Rachel turns and smiles at me.
"Hello, Goldie! How are your exams going?"
"Good, here to take my last one." Madam Hooch chuckles.
"I watched you play yesterday, Miss Potter," she says, "I think that will count as an O for your exam." I smiles.
"Oh, thank you!"
"You flew wonderfully. I cannot wait to watch you play quidditch for Gryffindor." I nod, excitement filling my stomach.
I'm done! Merlin's beard, I'm done! Now I just have to wait for my results. All of my teachers seem positive about my results, so I shouldn't worry.
"Thank you, Professor," I say, before walking off with Rachel and Heather to the Great Hall. Ara and Cedric are sitting across from each other, whispering back and forth. Nervousness seeps into my brain. Ara turns and sees me. She waves me over and I sit besides her.
"Are you all finished?" Cedric asks, smiling.
"Yeah, they all said that I did good." I smile and look at the both of them.
"Well, Cedric and I are were just brainstorming about ideas to keep your mind off of them for a while, maybe you could give us some ideas?"
"I don't know. Maybe just some random fun, I guess?"
"Cool, new thing each day till the results come back," Cedric says, "I've got a great day planned for tomorrow." Ara giggles and elbows me.
"Alright, I'm looking forward to it." Cedric squeezes my hands before getting up.
"So what are we going to do this evening?" Ara asks, making me smiles.
"Do you have something in mind?" Ara smirks, linking her arms with me."Is this allowed?" I ask Ara, as we head down to the kitchens.
"I have no idea.. but its common knowledge of how to get into them, so I would think that we wouldn't get in that much trouble. We should probably try not to get caught though."
"Well, yeah," I whisper back. We get up to the fruit bowl painting and Ara tickles the pear. The portrait opens and we both walk in. House elves face us.
"Little Mistresses!" one says, "What would you like?"
"Can we have three tubs of ice cream?" Ara asks, politely. I nod. They rush to a large freezer and hands us one tub of vanilla and one tub of chocolate.
"Anything else?"
"No thank you," I say, smiling, "Thank you for this." They bow and we both head out. We rush to the Gryffindor common room and run up to our dorm. Heather, Ginny, Hermione, Lavender, and Parvarti are waiting for us.
"I cannot believe I just did that," I say as I sit down on the floor besides Hermione, "It was such a rush." We all giggle and take out the spoons we had stolen from the Great Hall.
"Now we don't have to worry about the boys stealing our ice cream," Ginny says.
"They literally gave it to us," Ara says, "It was way to easy!" We all giggle.
"We've pretty much trained them to serve us," I say, "it's sick, but I don't think people will give it up." Hermione and Heather look mortified.
"They're like slaves?" Heather asks. I nod slowly, dipping my spoon into a tub of ice cream.
"I know that the Malfoy's was just freed recently," I say, looking at Ara. She smiles.
"Dobby deserves freedom, my parents were terrible to him. My brother was on the occasion too."
"Is it true that Harry trick Mr. Malfoy into giving Dobby a sock?" I giggle.
"Yeah," I say, laughing with spoon in my mouth. Ara giggles and shakes her head.
"I hope he goes and finds some nicer people," she says, "he was a good house elf."
"I can't believe that wizards have slaves! It's so easy to do things with magic." Hermione has a point.
"Some people are just really lazy," Lavender replies, "I know its terrible, but that's the ugly truth about it." Parvarti nods along with her friend. We continue our ice cream eating and talking. I get a lot of questions about Cedric and my finals.
"Maybe you'll give Hermione a run for a money in our class!" Lavender exclaims. Hermione laughs.
"I think that Hermione and I should team up to make the gap even bigger," I say, making Hermione laugh harder.
"I mean, we could split the highest grades in each class, and we could help each other in homework," she says, and with a mean look from Parvarti and Lavender, "And others in our class, if they so needed it."
"Two nerds in our class will certainly make the rest of us look wonderful." We all laugh and finish the ice cream.
"No body needs to know," Heather sings as she throws them away.
"I'll see you all in the morning," Hermione says, after Lavender and Parvarti leave, "try not to worry about the results, Goldie. I'm sure you passed all of them." I smile and nod.
"Good night, Hermione."
"Good night."
