Mom didn't come home that night. And before I knew it, it was Sunday morning. I groaned as I turned over in my bed, reaching out for my phone and I sighed loudly as I saw who I had a friend request on Facebook from.

Brett Talbot would like to be your friend. Accept Decline.

I rolled my eyes as I clicked accept, maybe it was a bad idea but I just didn't care. I wanted a lazy day with Netflix and some McDonalds. So I picked up my TV remote and turned my TV on. I picked up my laptop off the floor and got up Netflix. I was so happy that I had an HDMI cable so that I could connect my laptop up to my TV. I put on the latest episode of The Originals that I hadn't got round to watching yet.

About 15minutes into it my phone went off with a loud ding. I got excited as I reached for my phone, only to be annoyed at who it was. A message from Brett. I opened it and I was ready to ignore it but it intrigued me.

Brett Talbot
10:37
I told Satomi about you, she's the leader of my pack. She wants to meet you.

I studied the message for a while. The little bubble with the 3 dots kept coming up signalling he was typing only I didn't receive another message.

Hattie Jones
10:40
And why would she want to meet me?

I awaited his reply, that came almost instantly.

Brett Talbot
10:41
She's never met a kitsune like you before. She's interested. Is your mom home?

Hattie Jones
10:42
No she's not home, why do you ask?

Brett Talbot
10:43
I'm bringing Satomi over, be expecting us at 12

Hattie Jones
10:44
WHAT? BRETT NO

STOP

DONT YOU DARE BRETT

I SWEAR TO GOD! IM GOING TO HURT YOU SO BADLY

Brett read my messages only there was no reply, which meant he was probably still coming over. I continued watching The Originals, shouting and gasping at the TV, almost forgetting about Brett bringing Satomi over. At about 11:15 I crawled out of bed, walking slowly over to my closet. I found some black ripped skinny jeans and a red top. I slowly got dressed before I applied a little bit of makeup. I slumped down the stairs, reaching for a banana as I entered the kitchen. I peeled it and walked back into the living room. I jumped onto the sofa and turned the TV on. I watched some Jerry Springer before there was a knock at the door. I quickly got up and answered it, just as expected, Brett was standing there with a small woman standing next to him. She was wearing a black cloak with the hood up so I couldn't see her face.

"Can we come in?" Brett asked, a smirk on his face.

"Sure," I laughed as I opened the door wider, "it's not like I have a choice."

Once Brett and Satomi were in the house I closed the door and Satomi pulled her hood back.

"Satomi, this is Hattie." Brett introduced and I kept a smile on my face. But I didn't understand why she was here.

"Extraordinary" she whispered making me furrow my eyebrows as her eyes darted all over my face. "A blue aura, how fascinating."

I felt like I was an animal at the zoo. I suppose it was fascinating, but not that fascinating.

"Tell me Hattie, what exactly can you do?" She asked and I gestured to the living room so we could sit down. Once we were all seated I sighed.

"Well, I can hear people's thoughts." I informed her and she looked at me funny.

"That is not all, no?" She asked and I shook my head.

"When we were in the parking lot yesterday another werewolf was charging at me and I just wished for him to stop and he did." I told her.
