Chapter 10

Hope's eyes fluttered open and she could see Madison hovering over her. Hope jumped back still surprised that her friend was in her room this early. Madison had an eager look on her face, which was a typical look whenever she wanted to get something done. She was also probably the most competitive person that she knew. Hope sat up and blinked a few times. "What are you doing here? Its ten in the morning?" She said, her voice coming out five times lower than it usually was. 

"Get up sleeping beauty! We are going shopping for the bonfire tonight. We have to look HAWT for our men." She said giving her a wink. It seemed like Madison had forgotten about the whole incident that had happened yesterday, but Hope was still thinking about it. Her heart seemed to hurt when she remembered what Liam said. She tried to shake it out of her head but the way he had looked at her, before Madison interrupted them was not the way a brother looks at a sister. He was so gentle with her as if he were scared to ever hurt her.

"Can I at least go take a shower?" 

"Yea just be quick! I want to hang out with Liam after so I just want to get it over with." At the sound of Liam's name Hope flinched. She got out of her bed and quickly grabbed some running shorts and a plain white t-shirt.  She got into the shower and allowed the water to spill onto her body. She let out a deep breath and allowed the warmth to surround her. She smiled and lightly touched her forehead remembering how Dylan's lips felt against her skin. 

Getting out of the shower she saw that the mirror had fogged up. Quickly, swiping her fingers over the glass she wrote D+H= <3 She smiled and quickly got dressed. Her blonde hair started to create the natural beach waves that she loved. She decided against makeup and went to Madison.

"Ready." They both got up and ran down the stairs "IM GOING TO THE STORE WITH MADISON!" She yelled out before opening the door and getting into Madisons car.

"Gosh Hope you're so lucky you live right next door to Liam. I would DIE knowing that he was just a few yards away from me." Madison giggled. Hope felt uncomfortable and wanted to go back inside and get into bed.

"I guess I'm just used to it..."

"Hope?"

"Yea?" Hope looked up at her friend and could see an apologetic look on her face.

"I'm really sorry about freaking out on you yesterday. I honestly don't know what came over me.."

"Its fine Madison.."

"No actually it's not fine. I flipped out on you for no reason. You didn't even do anything. I guess I was just jealous that you were hanging out with him even though you're not dating him. But he's like your best friend so that would never happen right?" Madison kept rambling on and on, but Hope stopped listening. She was looking at Liam's house and through the window she could see Anna talking on the phone laughing.  "Hope?" It was as if she heard nothing. "Helllloooo?? EARTH TO HOPE?" Hope finally looked at Madison and smiled. 

"Madison, its FINE!" Her friend finally smiled and they were off.

Hope looked nervously at the clock it was nearing 6p.m around the same time Madison said she would come from Liam's house to get ready for the bonfire.  She went over to her closet and looked at the dress she bought earlier today. It was a beautiful white strapless dress that came up to her mid thigh. It hugged tightly onto her around the waist and flowed out. She loved how light it felt on her. She pulled on the dressed and lightly swayed back and forth, the dress flowed along with her. She paired the dress with her brown belt and brown sandals.
