Chapter 19: War plan

Morning came and the three continued to sleep in the chairs in the throne room. It was peaceful even with war in the air. But as they say its calm before the storm.

They slept, but there sleep was cut short as a maid ran in shouting "your highness! We have replies from the other kingdoms!" She shouted rushing in only to see the King, Phil along with his son, Prince Techno and a masked man she didn't know shot up on high alert looking around for any sort of attack. War was still high in there minds.

Phil and Techno seemed to relax when they released it was only a maid with some letters in her hands, but Dream he was lowered his stance but his guard never dropped and his shoulders where tense.

The maid bowed deeply after releasing that she had just woken the king and prince. "I'm sorry for my abrupt entrance!" The maid apologise looking down at the ground in embarrassment.

Phil waved her off "it's alright, now why are you here?" Phil asked looking at the young maid. The maid stood up straight once again while looking at the letters in her hands.

"I have the letters of the replies from the other kingdoms" the maid told the king as she stretched her hands out showing the letters in her hands.

Phil nodded and stood taking the letters from the maid. The maid bowed before leaving closing the throne room doors again leaving the King, Prince and masked man alone in the room.

Phil sat back down in his chair with the letters in hand. "So what do you think they said?" Techno asked looking at his father as he also sat down.

Dream took one last look around to check his surroundings before sitting down.

Phil shrugged at Techno as he opened the letter and began to read them.

They sat in silence as Phil read the letters from the other kingdoms. After reading them Phil put them down on the big wooden table in front of them. "They said there prepared for war and will fight for humanity" Phil told Techno and Dream.

Techno nodded "that's good hopefully there help will aid us in this war for humanity and hopefully win us there war" he said turning his attention to the map on the table.

Phil saw this and looked at Dream "did you find there base area?" He asked.

"Yes I have" Dream told them standing up and pointing to where he marked it on the map. "It's there between the mountains"

"Thank you for finding that Dream" Phil thanked grabbing some paper and a pen and writing down the coordinates.

"Before we send there's coordinates we need to come up with a plan that could win us the war" Phil said putting the paper with the coordinates on as he grabbed more paper.

Dream and Techno followed Phil's lead as they also grabbed pen and paper as they began to try and plan a way to win a war that seemed impossible, but that's what Dream seemed to do, the impossible. So Techno and Phil relied more on what Dream said. As Dream had much more experience in war.

But Dream seemed to do the impossible like it was a daily walk around the garden. I mean people thought that immortality was impossible and then Dream was an immortal walking around living through the history.

People thought that magic to the scale Dream could do was impossible but Dream seemed to do it so naturally.

Death also seemed like a permanent thing for everyone, but Dream just seems to to the impossible and once again walked among them like he didn't just come back from the death.

Dream talked about how they'd be best trying to make the war happen in the open field as the monsters would be able to get the higher ground as soon as they attacked if they didn't already have watchers on the mountains watching for out them.

Phil noted this down after thinking about it. It was a smart idea that could level the playing field slightly.

Techno mentioned that they should keep the archers back so that they could provide cover keeping the soldiers that would rush forward safe from long range and sky attack for some of the monsters. Dream pointed out the floor in that as the endermen could teleport and would just teleport and whip out the archers making them loss that sort of protection from the sky attacks.

Phil added that they should keep some soldiers near the archers to make sure that doesn't happen. The archers wouldn't be able to hold off against the endermen as they where more long range fighters, they didn't specialise in swords which made them very valuable to the endermen.

As the three planed food was brought to them as they eat not wanting to stop planing as they where almost at a plan they where all happy with. They knew not all plans went as planned and tried to plan multiple contingency plans.

The basic plan was set. Now they had to think about how to deal with the portals along with his him guy.

"For the portals I can close them" Dream told the two spinning the pen he had in one of his hands.

Phil looked at Dream "that would be good. When could you close them?" He asked the masked man.

Dream looked at the king thinking. "It depends" he told Phil shrugging. "I would like to close them before the war but I don't know wether that would be possible"

Phil sighed having to accept the unsure answer.

Techno spoke up "what about this him guy?" He asked looking at there plans.

Dream looked at Techno "I'd have to deal with him" he told Techno looking away as Technos head shot up looking at him intently.

"What?" Techno asked hoping he didn't hear Dream correctly.

Dream sighed "I have to face him preferably on my own. It's why I'm here after all. To stop him. Wether that means kill him or sealing him" he told both of he royals.

Techno didn't want to admit that Dream would have to fight this him guy on his own but he knew he was right. It had to be done.

Phil nodded "very well. It looks like we relay mostly on you in this war Dream" he told Dream who just nodded.

Phil looked at the final plan that he'd copied out multiple times for the other kingdoms. He put his hand on the plans as he looked up determined.

"Then we'll march to this battle with there aid and stop this war" Phil said as crows flew in taking the plans to the other kingdoms.
