Chapter 14: Nightmare

Phil, Wilbur, Tommy and Ranboo turned to look at Dream and Techno as they sat down at the table with them.

"So how was it?" Phil asked looking at Dream and Techno as Techno put some food on his plate.

"It was alright if you look pass the assassination attempt on Dream" Techno began putting his plate down and grabbing Dreams to put some food on it for Dream once the others leave. This caused the other to stop eating as they looked at Dream in shock.

"Oh and the royal weren't the kindest to him. One of the kings tried to get me to marry his daughter" Techno told them putting Dreams plate back in front of them. "So not the best time then?" Phil asked, Techno shook his head no.

"Most of them didn't like the fact Dream wore his mask all the time and they refused to show him any respect because he's a commoner" Techno spat out the last word like it was poison in his mouth.

Dream decided now was the best time to join in the conversation. "But we did meet Technos old friend, King Blake" he told them trying to move mass how the kingdoms treated him.

"Oh I remember him" Phil said happy. "He's the prince of the star kingdom"

"King now" Techno told Phil while he continued to eat.

"Anyway how's the soldiers training coming?" Dream asked playing with a knife out of boredom.

"Not so well. They don't seem to get it and get confused which way is better go kill certain monsters" Phil sighed frustrated. "It's like you teach them one thing then try to teach them another and the forget the thing you just taught them"

"Maybe Dream could teach them" Wilbur piped up voicing his idea he got everyone's attention. "How will Dream teaching them help?!" Tommy shouted almost standing from his seat.

"Oh I don't know" Wilbur shrugged. "He managed to teach a group more then we have in a month in only a few hours while hunting" he reminded Tommy who huffed not saying anything knowing Wilbur was right.

"That's a good idea Wilbur" Phil praised smiling. "Dream knows the monsters best so who better to teach them then the man who's fought them more than anyone?!" He shouted happy excited about the realisation.

Dream stood up hands shaking in front of him. "Wait, wait wait. You want me to teach you army?" He asked wanting to makes sure what he was hearing was true not really believe what he heard. "Yep" Phil confirmed smiling at Dream.

"Will you do it?" Phil asked Dream. Dream sighed sitting back down. "You want me to teach an army of soldiers that probably won't listen to me. Like time I tried to help teach. I was only helping and they ignored me. How do you think they'll react to this?!" He asked shocked still trying to register the information.

"I mean yeah but they'll do what there told and you are going to teach them. Well if you say you will teach them that is?" Phil asked hopefully.

Dream looked at Phil then around the room before looking back at Phil. "Alright" he said raising his hands in some type of surrender. "I'll train you army" he told them making Phil laugh happy along with Wilbur.

Techno turned to look at Dream. "You sure? It's a big job teaching those idiots" he asked Dream wanting to make sure he was fine with doing it and wasn't only doing it because he felt pressured.

"I'm sure Techno it'll be fine" Dream reassured Techno smiling behind his mask. Techno sighed "alright if you say so"

After everyone let the dinning hall Dream took his mask of and for the first time in a month eat a proper meal. As during the month he could only take small things from the dinning hall in the other kingdoms castles.
