Chapter 10: Sun kingdom

Once they where both packed for the journey ahead they both got back on there horses and headed out the the kingdoms. 

First they decided to head to the kingdom farther way to same time so they don't have to double back.

They travelled at full speed trying to cover as much ground as possible, the sun slowly began to set Techno spoke up. "Hey Dream, do you think we should carry on through the night or look for somewhere to sleep?" He asked turning his head to look at Dream as they slowed down so they could hear each other.

"It's not save sleep somewhere. The open obviously isn't an option  and there's no caves near and even then they wouldn't be save neither" Dream answered and began to pick up speed again. "Hey stop a minute" Techno called making Carl catch up to Dream and Raven who slowed down again so they could. Once they where both next to each they came to a stop.

"We both need sleep, you more so considering your going to be putting those shield bubbles up and they take a lot of your energy" Techno said patting Carl. "Then what do you suggest?" Dream asked crossing his arms. "Umm" Techno began not really knowing what to say. If he knew Dream wasn't going to have to put shields up then he'd suggest maybe Dream setting one up for the night.

Then Techno got an idea. "Why doesn't one of us ride while the other sits behind or in front of they go to fall off while the other horse follows?" Techno asked inside he was proud of the idea but then he released an issue what is they did fall off? "Sure you can sleep first if you want" Dream said moving slightly to try and get comfortable in the saddle he's been sat in for hours.

"But-" Techno began but he was cut of by Dream. "Hey I fell asleep on the way back to the castle after the hunting trip. You get some sleep. I know you tried" Dream told Techno looking him in the eyes even though Techno couldn't see his eyes. "But what about you?" Techno asked Dream concerned. "Techno, I slept a bit before remember the hunting trip besides I'm not tired yet" Dream said offering his hand to Techno.

Yes Techno was tired but he was more worried about Dream. Once they got to the far kingdom that was in there alliance it wouldn't be till the following day just before sun down. And they would probably want Dream to set up the shield straight away as the monsters are more active of a night.

But Techno was also worried that Dream was apparently not tired. He knew Dream had a tendency to not sleep especially when stressed and in an environment he doesn't feel save in. Techno stifled yawn giving in and taking Dreams hand.
Dream pulled Techno onto the back of Raven. "You sure you're okay?" Techno asked wanting one last clarification before he finally let sleep take him. Dream looked over his shoulder at the tired Techno "yeah I'm fine" Dream told him moving his mask off of his face. "Just get some sleep. You need it" Dream told Techno leaning back and giving Techno a small kiss. "I love you sleep well" Dream said pulling back. "Love you, night" Techno yawned finally giving into sleep snuggling his head in Dreams neck and wrapping his arms around Dream waist locking his arms so he can't fall off. But trusting Dream to stop him if he did go to fall.

Dream smiled softly as he look forward again fixing his mask. "Come on Carl let's get going" he told Technos horse who listened and both Raven and Carl began to move again galloping into the night. Dream looked up and the night sky enjoying the starry sky and the moon that seemed to shine brighter tonight.

As morning approached Dream just realised that he didn't sleep. The sun began to rise and Dream still didn't seem tired. Though he was happy he was able to let Techno have a full night sleep knowing he needed it. They had been awake since early yesterday. He felt Techno move behind him seemingly trying to block out the bright light from the sun. This caused Dream to laugh quietly.
