Chapter 11: Old friend

It's been almost a month since Techno and Dream began travelling with Dream setting up shields for kingdoms. And now they where heading to the last kingdom which was the closest one to Antarctica, the kingdom of stars.

The ride was relative long but it
was quite they only had to kill a few monsters on the way. Well there few would been too many for anyone else but Techno and Dream where anyone but anyone else.

Dream yawed stretching as they began to see the kingdom of stars coming into view in the horizon. Techno looked at Dream from while there horses kept galloping towards the kingdom. "Tired?" He asked Dream loud enough to be heard over the sound of the horses hooves hitting the ground.

"A bit but this is the last one. I'm still getting use to having so many shields up" Dream told Techno loud enough to be heard. Techno looked at Dream a bit worried and it showed on his face well it was in his eyes no one would have seen it but Dream knew Techno too well for him to be able to hide how he feels like he can with everyone else.

Dream sighed but it was unheard over the hooves hitting the ground. "I'll be alright Techno. I'll just take sometime before I get use to it" he told Techno trying to lower Techno worry.

But Techno was worried that Dreams body won't be able to hand the strain of the shields. It was a good idea but they didn't take into a count that I'll put more strain on Dream the farther away from the shields he is. And lately Dreams been struggling and even though Dream tries to hide it Techno can see it. But even then he thinks Dreams struggling at lot more than even he can see.

They arrived at the star kingdom that's know for its wide knowledge they slowed down as the came closer to the gates of the kingdom. 
The gates opened for them letting them in and just like all the other kingdoms they where greeted by the king. The king of the star kingdom was King Blake.

And as soon as Dream saw him he didn't trust the man one bit. There was something shady about him. Blake also held himself in a cocky like manner, which Dream didn't like. All the other kingdoms the kings didn't show Dream much respect because he's a commoner. But something was telling him that this King Blake was going to be the worst. But Dream reminded himself that he shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

"Welcome to the great kingdom of knowledge, I'm king Blake. I was only recently crowned king at the sad passing of my father" Blake told them sounding cocky making Dream sight under her breath he was not in the mode to deal with this.

"Techno it's been awhile, right this way I'll show you where your commoner will need to set up that shield" King Blake told Techno as him and Dream dismounted there horses. Nope Dream definitely didn't like this man. His eye twitched slightly at his the King in front of him was speaking about him. Techno stared at Blake in hidden shock. He remembered when they where younger Blake was so kind and caring, nothing like how's he's acting now.

"Well this commoner is going to be providing you with safety so I suggest you show me a little respect" Dream told King Blake stepping towards him. Blake just laughed. "Why would I show you respect?" Blake asked snarling slightly.

"I can always refuse to put the shield up you know" Dream said crossing his arms across his chest. Blake hummed "from what I've heard you care about other people too much to do that"

"I still-" Dream began but was cut of by King Blake. "And you'll do as your told commoner!" The king shouted he expected Dream to back down but he didn't the did the complete opposite much the Blake surprise, Dream took a step forward.

"Prince Technoblade get this-this thing under control!" Blake yelled backing up from Dream in fear. "Thing? Thing?! So I'm not even a commoner now?" Dream shouted to the cowardly king.
