Chapter 12: Conversation

Techno and Blake looked at Dream who was now sat up looking at them.

"They didn't force me to come back Techno" Dream told Techno as he fixed his smiley mask.
"What?" Techno whispered looking at Dream.

Dream smiled behind his mask. "I didn't think you'd tell anyone our past especially King Blake" Dream said trying to change the subject of the conversation.

"Sorry about how I acted before" King Blake apologise "I was too busy trying to be the king my father wanted and forgot myself"
He bowed his head slightly "please forgive me"

"It's alright. I apologise as well I wasn't in the best of moods. Still getting us to having to divide my magic. I shouldn't have acted like that towards you, your majesty" Dream also apologise standing up and bowing to the king of the star kingdom.

Blake waved him off "come on no need for that. I've been friends with Techno since we where kids. It doesn't seem right from me to have you bowing down to me"

Techno coughed slightly getting both Dreams and Blake attention again. "Sorry" the both muttered.

Techno turned to Dream. "Dream what did you mean by they didn't force you?" He asked Dream.

Dream sighed "I mean exactly that. I didn't have to come back. If anything the gods didn't want to make me save the world again" he began. "They promised me rest and I didn't get" Dream shrugged.

"You see when I saw the world fall into chaos and despair I knew I could help so I asked them to send me back. It was me how wanted to come back, Techno" Dream told Techno looking at the pink haired man.

"You should know by now that I can't sit and watch as people die when I could have done something so I came back" Dream told Techno trying to get it across to him. "And besides did you really think I was going to let you fight this without. Sorry not going to happen"

Techno chuckled a bit "I guess your right I was only tell Blake before that you very selfless" he said "as for leaving me to fight on my own, do you doubt my capabilities?" Techno asked Dream raising an eyebrow, to them this was just them messing about. But to Blake he thought Techno was serious.

Dream laughed standing up "of course not you highness" he bowed mockingly. "I have full faith in you abilities. It's your leadership abilities I'm afraid off" Dream said cheekily smirking behind his mask.

Techno faked hurt. "My leading abilities are just as strong" he said with a hand over his heart.

"Oh of course sorry my apologies, I meant your socialising abilities" Dream apologise correcting himself.

King Blake watched the two amused by how they acted with each. But it ended just as soon as it began.

Dream stood up to his full hight again becoming serious. "But seriously Techno I didn't want you to face this alone you have no idea what him is capable off. And don't forget I was watching over you those six year" he told Techno who looked at him remembering that Dream said this him guy was a god that wanted to bring the end off the world for fun.

But Techno froze at the last part Dream said. Dream had been watching him for six year after he die and Techno was fine when around everyone but then he was alone, Techno was distraught. He'd break things, sleep less, eat less and train till he passed out. And over the six years the managed to keep it hidden from everyone. Phil, Wilbur, Tommy and Ranboo none of them knew, but he couldn't hid it from Dream.

Blake seeing Techno freeze for awhile and both Dream and Techno didn't seem to want to continue the conversation, Blake spoke up. "How about we head to the dinning hall and have some food before turning in for the night?" He asked looking at both Dream and Techno.
