The Umbaran forces were getting thinner, but the 212th hadn't made any move to try and get into the Capital. Cain glanced at Obi-Wan and saw him sneaking up the side of the Umbaran forces. He ignited his lightsaber and killed them with a wide sweep of the blade. He shouted for the 212th to move forwards as he slashed through more. Now he was making quick work of them, along with the blaster fire of the clone force. Cain stood up but kept low and fired his twin blasters, hitting his targets with precision.

Suddenly, there was a loud explosion. Not from them, not from the enemy, but from up in the sky. The ship giving the Umbarans their resources. Everyone ducked for cover and looked up. From where they were, they could see the fireball of a ship coming down to the planet a ways away from them. Cheers erupted and the Umbarans they were fighting realised what had happened. They quickly retreated into the City and the 212th moved forward.

"They did it," Obi-Wan breathed. The Capital City was almost bare, very few Umbarans in the city.

"They're retreating. Towards the airbase that Master Krell is at," Cain said, his voice hitching slightly with panic.

"I'll alert Master Krell right now," Obi-Wan confirmed and went off to a quieter spot.

Cain walked the streets of the Capital City. It had few street lights and the buildings were made of a dark material, most likely the plants of Umbara. He watched as the clones kept the Umbarans on the ground, blasters to their heads. The Umbarans had their hands behind their heads in surrender. There weren't many tall buildings in the Capital. They were mostly houses or small shops. In the centre of the capital there were taller buildings, but they were only about two-stories tall. Cain's comm chimed.

"Cain, I need you back here. The Republic is coming to pick us up very soon," Obi-Wan's voice came from the comm on Cain's wrist.

"I will be there soon," Cain replied and ended the communication. He walked back with a steady pace. Even though they had captured the Umbarans, he felt like there were eyes watching him. Realisation was like a slap to the face. They had only fought male Umbarans.

Cain took of in a run to Obi-Wan. He needed to tell his brother that there were still Umbarans in the houses. He heard the click of a blaster and stopped dead in his tracks. He slowly turned around and found an Umbaran, probably no older than ten, with a blaster a few metres away. The blaster was raised shakily, level with his head. Cain put his hands up, trying not to look threatenting.

"Can you speak Basic?" He asked the Umbaran. They nodded, but kept the blaster in the spot. "What's your name?"

The Umbaran looked surprised. "Ulari," the Umbaran answered in an accent.

"I'm Cain. I am not going to hurt you. You can lower the blaster."

"You have invaded my home. I will not lower my blaster."

Cain looked behind him. The street was now deserted, all Umbarans and clones gone. Cain lowered his hands and pressed his comm. "Obi-Wan? I'm going to be a bit late," he told his brother.

"Don't worry. You have plenty of time. The pick up is going to be a bit later than anticipated," Obi-Wan answered.

"Okay. Stay safe." The communication ended with a beep and Cain turned his attention back to Ulari.

"Lower your blaster, please. I am not going to hurt you," Cain tried again. Ulari looked torn between the decisions, but ended up keeping their blaster level. "I'm sorry if I freak you out." Cain Force-Pulled the blaster towards him, but Ulari had also outstretched their hand and now the blaster was floating mid-air. Cain almost lost his grip on it in shock. He immediately flicked out one of his blasters and turned on the stun setting. He shot the Umbaran and they fell to the ground unconscious.

"Sorry," Cain apologised as he lifted them up bridal style. They were lighter than he expected.

Obi-Wan gave Cain a weird look when he turned up with Ulari on his shoulder.

"I will tell you later why I've got this one," Cain said. Obi-Wan nodded.

Gunships landed and Cain took a tentative step in. He didn't want to lose his grip on the Umbaran and wake them. When he got in and claimed a space near the rear of the ship and carefully set Ulari down. He sat next to them. The Umbaran was small, as they were most likely no older than ten years old, and Cain was pretty sure they were a young girl. Young Force-sensitive girl. She suddenly startled awake.

"Shh," Cain tried to sooth and put a hand on her shoulder to keep her down. "You're safe." Cain kept his other hand on the blaster set to stun.

"Am I?" Ulari asked. She looked frantically around.

"Yes, you are." Cain looked around to see if any of the clones were watching him. When he confirmed none of them were, he scooted in front of Ulari and removed his helmet. "I'm not an enemy."

She looked up ay his face and peered over his shoulder to see the clones. "Do all of you look the same?" She asked.

"Oh no, I'm not a clone."

"Can I trust you?"

"If you think you can. I won't force you."

She smiled. "I think I can trust you. But you shot me, didn't you?"

"Only with a stun blast. I had no reason to hurt you."

"So you weren't lying."

"Yeah."

She paused. "Do you know where my dads are?" Her face looked as if she already knew the answer.

Cain tried to supress surprise from spreading on his face. "I'm sorry little one, but I don't know."

"Is that why you took me?"

Cain hesitated. "Yes."

She looked disappointed. "Oh."

"Did both of your dads fight?"

"They did. I know they could be dead, but I don't wanna think about that right now."

"I'm sorry if they are. They must have been wonderful to raise such an amazing young girl who can protect herself."

Ulari smiled. "Thanks."

Cain felt the gravity shift to the artificial gravity of a Jedi Cruiser. He put his helmet back on and outsteched his hand to Ulari.

"C'mon, I'll show you around. It's quite a big ship."

Ulari gladly took his hand and squeezed it. He showed her every part of the cruiser gladly.
