"What did Fives wanna talk to you about?" Anakin asked Cain, keeping up with his fast pace.

"Oh, um, nothing of importance," Cain said. Fives had told him, when Jesse left the barracks, that his murderous intent was now non-existent. But he kissed Cain on the way out, hinting that he wanted more. Cain was trying to push the feelings away.

"Oh? Nothing of importance? I've gotten to watch your behaviours for a while now and when you're walking this fast it means your in deep thought about something, or stressing." Anakin raised an eyebrow.

"It doesn't matter."

"Hm suuuure." Anakin sighed. "I've talked to the Council about your crystal."

Cain suddenly stopped dead in his tracks, startling Anakin. "You what?"

"Talked to the Council about your kyber crystal. They agreed to have you make your lightsaber."

"When?"

"Any time. Just go to them and they can walk you through it. Or they put the task on me, it would be safer and probably easier." Anakin shrugged.

"I don't think I'm ready to reveal a secret yet. But a lightsaber does sound like a good idea. This crystal keeps me awake sometimes."

Anakin grabbed Cain's wrist. "Let's go then."

"Alright, alright."

~~~~<+>~~~~
Cain held his helmet at his hip in one hand and his crystal in the other, clutching it tightly.
"Padmé will look after Ulari well, don't worry," Anakin said with a slight smile.
"That's.. not what I'm worried about," Cain admitted. "I don't want this to go wrong."
"They already promised. I very much doubt they'll take it back."
They could hear the muffled voices of the Council discussing something. Cain listened very closely, making out that they were talking about him.
"Are we going to regret this?" A voice said. Cain couldn't make out who it was.
"I think we should be more concerned about his family heritage. The Kenobis were Sith Lords back before the Sith were wiped out," another voice said, venom lacing their voice. Cain flinched at the mention of Sith. That was probably Master Windu.
"We should not be worried. Obi-Wan has proven to be a wonderful Jedi, and I very much doubt that Cain will be easy to turn," yet another voice said. Cain mentally logged a trip to the archives as his next objective.
He looked over to Anakin. He seemed oblivious to what Cain had heard being discussed. Cain let out a breath he hadn't realised he was holding and followed Anakin into the Council room.
"Ah, Cain and Anakin. I assume it's about the crystal?" Master Shaak Ti asked. Cain hadn't seen her in the Council before, but he instantly felt calm in her presence.
"Yes," Anakin confirmed. Cain let the crystal float in the air, the faintly blue colour of the crystal reflecting the sun rays coming through the huge windows.
"Magnificent, it is," Master Yoda commented.
"Anakin. I know you already have a Padwan and are giving Cain lessons, but fo you think you could walk through creating a lightsaber with him?" Master Ti asked. Anakin sighed, but nodded.
"I won't be a burden, don't worry," Cain joked. Anakin smirked.
"Alright, training room we go," Anakin instructed. Cain rolled his eyes and put his kyber crystal back in its pouch on his belt. He put his helmet on and followed Anakin out of the room.
