Cain swung a wooden practise saber around, practising the moves of Form 1. Ulari was in the training room with him, ready for her first lesson in deflecting blaster bolts. She was going to have her lessons at the same time as Cain. Anakin walked in.

"Ready you two? These droids can be pests," Anakin warned with a smirk. He walked over to thse small spherical droids in a basket in the corner of the training room. Anakin grabbed two of them. "Stand apart. These droids sense the person. It won't be nice if both target one person." Ulari and Cain stood on opposite sides of the room. Anakin placed one droid in front of each of them and turned them on. Cain readied himself as he heard and saw the droid spring up from the ground. It leveled itself above Cain's head and was still for a moment. Then it shot a bolt. Cain yelped and jumped back. It left the place it had hit with a tingling numb sensation. The droid shot at him again and he dodged it this time.

"The point of these droids is to practise deflecting blaster bolts, and later reflecting them once you have a lightsaber," Anakin deadpanned. Cain groaned. "Try to follow the droid with the Force. Feel how it moves through the air." He heard Ulari screech as she must have been hit by a fake blaster bolt. Cain tried to follow the droid, but only managed to get hit again. He groaned and straightened himself.

Anakin laughed. "Guess how I was taught to deflect bolts? They covered my eyes which forced me to use the Force and my other senses." Anakin came up behind Cain. "Stay still." Anakin tied a bandanna around Cain's head, covering his eyes. "Don't worry, I'm doing the same to Ulari. Don't you dare think of taking it off."

Cain growled, but left the bandanna. He listened for the droid and found it. He tried what Anakin had said again. Cain heard the droid fire, and a stinging and numbing sensation in his side. Shot again. He held the training saber in a ready position, just like he would if he was training to use the Forms. He needed to block it. Cain felt a ripple in the Force as the droid fired at him, but he narrowly missed and it hit him in the shoulder.

"That was close, Cain," Anakin commented. Next, Cain heard Anakin grumble about something to do with 'those damn helmets that Younglings use'. Cain blocked him outmand focused. He felt the Force flow around the droid, its movements sharp and erratic. He felt the blaster bolt being fired, and he successfully blocked it. Cain heard Ulari groan, and then cheer when she must have blocked it too. He blocked the next few bolts successfully before taking his bandana off.

Anakin walked over to him. "Rex says Fives wants to speak with you. Rex doesn't know why. Be careful, I heard what happened," Anakin warned. Cain nodded. "I'll look after Ulari, don't worry."

Cain nodded again and picked up his helmet. On his way out of the training room, he put it on and followed Rex to where ever Fives wanted to speak to him at.

When the two arrived at the surprisingly empty 501st barracks, Rex put a hand on Cain's shoulder.

"Be careful. Fives knows secrets of yours he can use to his advantage. I don't want to see you decommissioned," Rex said, concern lacing through his voice.

"I'll be careful," Cain confirmed. Rex nodded and walked in the opposite direction of the barracks, leaving Cain alone. Cain breathed out shakily. He knew he had many advantages over Fives, but Fives must have been made an ARC trooper for a reason.

The door wooshed open and entered the somewhat dimly lit room with bunks lining the walls. He saw Fives looking at a datapad, his helmet tossed to the side. Cain leaned against one of the bunks with his arms crossed a few metres from where Fives was seated.

"What'd you need to talk to me about?" Cain inquired. Fives placed his datapad next to him on the bunk and stood up, copying Cain's position. Cain rolled his eyes. He'd heard Rex call Fives a menace, no wonder why.

"I have a dare to fulfill," Fives simply stated with a small shrug.

"And that dare is...?"

"To either get over my murderous intent of you, or kiss you."

Cain scoffed. "I know you'll never do either."

"You're right. Normally I wouldn't do either, but I never back out of a dare."

Cain felt dread sink into the pit of his stomach. "Knowing you and how you act sometimes, you may do both." Fives took a few steps forward, leaning on the next bunk. Cain took a few backwards, giving up on leaning on anything.

"Can we just get this over with?"

"Don't you dare pull me into a game I have no part in." Cain glared at Fives.

"C'mon, even the Commander plays."

"Ahsoka would never be given dares like this."

Fives smirker. "You don't know that."

Cain rolled his eyes, even though Fives couldn't see his face through the helmet. "Fine. Let's get this over with. What are you going to do first, if you are going to do both?"

"Kiss you to see if my murderous intent will disappear."

"Oh great."

"You're going to need to take that off." Fives motioned to Cain's helmet. Cain bit his lip to stifle a laugh, suddenly finding this whole ordeal funny. Probably because the last time Fives saw his face was when he was passed out from poisoning. Fives stood in front of Cain with his arms crossed. Cain took his helmet off and shook his brown hair out. He saw a faint blush creep up Fives' cheeks.

"Short and sweet? Or long and messy?" Cain asked with a smirk, running a gloved hand through his hair. He was going to have a lot of fun with Fives' slightly flustered state.

Fives raised an eyebrow. "Is that an invitation?"

"Depends on how you look at it."

Fives stood back a step. "Could you stop looking at me like that?"

"Like what?"

"Like... that. Seductively.. I don't know." Fives buried his face in his hand and turned away from Cain. Cain was now having a lot of fun. He tossed his helmet onto the nearest bunk.

Cain leaned closer to Fives, putting a hand behind him on a bunk. "Well, I guess we better hope no one comes in."

Fives peeked out from behind his fingers. "Oh Force. You are... really close." He attempted to take a step back, only to be stopped by the bunk behind him. He sighed and removed his hand from his face. "I'd better not regret this."

Fives tentatively kissed Cain at first, but then the kiss became more desperate, passionate. Cain pressed Fives against the bunk, using his leg to press right against him. Fives groaned into the kiss, and Cain pulled away. Fives furrowed his brows in confusion for a moment.

"May I?" Cain mumbled against Fives' neck. Fives shivered from the feeling and allowed him. Fives gasped as he felt Cain leave small kisses along his jaw line, before starting to suck on his neck. Cain knew this would leave a mark, but in the moment he didn't care and neither did Fives. Fives grabbed Cain's hips and pulled him closer. His thigh rubbed against Cain, causing Cain to faintly groan onto his neck. Cain eventually moved back to Fives' lips after deeming the mark he created as enough. Their bodies edged closer and closer to each other, their armour being the only barrier between them.

They heard the barracks door open and Cain felt his heart jump, fear of being caught already settling in. Fives gave Cain a gentle poke in a break in his armour as Cain backed off him, already knowing he should. Cain Force-Pulled his helmet towards hom and shoved it on. He mentally cursed.

"Um, General, Fives," a clone said with a slight shake in his voice.

"Ah, Jesse. I have done my dare. Both," Fives stated, winking at Cain. Cain couldn't bear to look at Jesse's face. Fives leaned close to Cain. "Oh how the tables have turned. I'm going to have a lot of fun with flustered you."
