Cain observed Fives' sleeping face and gently brushed a finger on his forehead. Cain linked his legs around his and pulled Fives closer, his head resting on Cain's bare upper chest. He had felt a bond click into place shortly after they started being intimate with each other and even though Fives couldn't sense it, he would be drawn to Cain. Fives stirred in his sleep, hugging Cain back. Cain smiled and gave a slight squeeze, even though Fives wouldn't respond.

Cain gingerly touched the Force-bond linking them. It wasn't the stongest ever since it had only been just established, but it was fiery with passion. And love? Cain wasn't sure yet. He'd never had a bond like this before. He still needed to figure out why the Force was so quick in linking them to each other. He decided he would ask if Fives could feel any feelings Cain sent over the bond in the morning.

Cain shortly fell back asleep, keeping Fives close.

Cain groggily opened his eyes and rubbed them. He grabbed his datapad to see what the time was. He groaned when he saw it was almost midday. He also spotted a message from the Chancellor, but decided that could wait. He reached over for Fives, only to find empty bed space. Cain sighed, trying to push out the thought that Fives had already left without a message. He prodded the bond between them and tried to sense where Fives was. Cain felt his signature nearby and breathed out a sigh of relief. He quickly got dressed and headed out to the small kitchen.

"Morning handsome," Fives greeted as soon as he spotted Cain.

"Mornin'," Cain yawned, then realised what exactly Fives had said. He accidentally sent a wave of embarrassment across the bond.

"Aw, embarrassed are you?" Fives walked over to Cain and wrapped him in an embrace.

"You felt my embarrassment? Or saw it?"

"Felt it. Dunno how."

"Well I've got some excellent news for you then." Cain let go of Fives and grabbed a piece of fruit from the bench and sat down at it. Fives sat in front of him.

"What is it? You're pregnant?"

Cain almost choked on his fruit. "What?" He regained his composure. "Oh yes, of course I am." He rolled his eyes.

Fives laughed. "Go on."

"A Force-bond was established between us last night. Which explains why you felt my embarrassment I accidentally sent across the bond."

Fives quirked a brow. "What does that make us?"

Cain shrugged. "Boyfriends."

Fives sighed and said something in Mando'a. "I'm never gonna hear the end of it if the boys find out. And I'm not exactly on terms that I'm... gay. I always thought it was a bit weird how I'd have more interest in the guys instead of the girls. Although I'm pretty good at pretending, but that isn't the point. I don't know what to do."

Cain nodded. "I know the feeling. But I came to terms with my sexuality, bisexual, long ago."

"Is that why you're not not freaking out?" Cain sent a wave of calm over the bond to Fives. "Oh, I suddenly feel very calm."

"It's not the end of the world. I can help you through every step."
Fives smiled slightly. "Thanks."

Cain threw the fruit core into a bin nearby. He then opened his bedroom door wth the Force and quickly Force-Pulled his datapad to him. Fives watched him with an eyebrow raised.

"The Chancellor messaged me. I've probably got a mission," Cain said.

"Solo?" Fives asked.

"Most likely. What I have to get though is the next question."
Fives watched Cain read through the long message. Once Cain had finished, he groaned and threw his head back.

Fives stifled a laugh as he spotted a mark left on Cain's neck from last night. "What do you have to do?"

"I've gotta take a small team to liberate someone from a Separatist prison. I have no idea who this is, but she looks very familiar." Cain placed his datapad on the bench and turned it to Fives. "Any idea?"

"You've never seen Senator Irealia Yesek?" Fives asked.

"She.. looks different..." Cain trailed off.

"You know her?"

"Of course I do. Her eldest brother is one of my friends."

"Does it say how she got captured?"

"Not a thing."

"Weird. Who you gonna take?"

"I was thinking you, and some boys from the 501st if Anakin can spare them. Or we could go alone, we should be able to manage."

"Excellent idea." Fives got up and gathered his armour and the blacks that go underneath. Cain did the same. When they had finished changing, Fives stared Cain up and down.

"You ought to put some blue on that armour," Fives commented.

"I really should. I'll do that when we get back," Cain confirmed.

"I will, uh, need to make a stop at the barracks for my comm. I left it there on purpose."

"Ohh so you had thought ahead huh?"

"Of course I did."

The pair stopped at the door of the 501st barracks.

"How many's in there?" Fives asked, hushed. Cain concentrated on counting the signitures he could sense.

"Two. Jesse and Rex I think," Cain answered, just as hushed.

"Oh great."

"I'll be just outside. I need to comm Anakin."

Fives gave a thumbs up and went inside the barracks. As Cain commed Anakin's frequency on his wrist comm, he focused on the bond linking him to Fives. He felt faint distress from Fives but other than that the emotions he could sense were weak, signalling that the bond needed to be established more.

"What's up, Cain?" Anakin's voice said.

"I'm stealing Fives for a mission."

"I've already been made aware that Fives was missing from the barracks last night."

"Why were you made aware?"

"He's part of the 501st and I lead the 501st. You can take him anyway. Just both of you meet us at the coordinates I'll give you soon for after your mission."

"All good, Anakin." Cain ended the communication.

"I am absolutely mortified," Fives whispered as he came out of the barracks, re-pairing his comm with his wrist comm.

"Anakin knows you were gone," Cain said.

"I just found that out. Rex that little snitch. Jesse was in on it too, explaining why you felt only them in there."

Cain chuckled. "I should've known."
