Pilla is now in her office posting job applications. Nina knocked, "come in," the former says. "Good morning, Pips. Just wanted to ask kung nakapost ka na ng applications?" she sat down. "Yes, I'm now posting on different platforms." Nina smiled and thanked her.

"By the way, belated happy birthday." Nina was shocked and thought about how did she know that. "Thanks but how did you know that?" Pilla faced her and says "Rea. Kung di pa dahil kay Rea hindi ko pa malalaman."

Nina didn't answer and looked away out of embarrassment.

"How do you recognize me, Nina?" Pilla asked. Nina got shocked and faced her, "Uh, well--we're business partners." Pilla frowned and says, "Nina, look at me. We're going out, we laugh and, ano ba--uh." Nina went closer to her, "look Pips, I'm sorry. We don't talk about our lives, we always talk about our business. We go out for business, we laugh about business. Besides, I'm calling you Pips because you told me to. How can I say that we're friends if we've never been into our lows and highs?"

Nina says sorry to Pilla and left because she has work to do. After the former left, Pilla cried and realizes everything. "Maybe, assumera lang talaga ako. We're not friends. We're not."

2 days after

"Rea, do you think napatawad na niya ako. I was too mean. I don't know how to talk to her na." Nina says. "Why don't you talk to her and try to make friends with her, akala kasi nung tao friends kayo. And honestly, I also thought that you guys are friends."

Nina went to Pilla's office to say sorry. "Pilla, I'm so sorry. I hope I can make it up to you." Pilla replied, "No, Nina. I should make it up to you. Ako naman 'tong assumera e." Nina tightly hugged her. They're now out and becoming closer. Rea saw them and smiled as she saw the two laughing together.

The next morning

Rea decided to visit the two in their place. She was shocked when she saw women on the side, learning things about their business. She just looked at the two and thought, "Wow, these two are just starting. I hope to witness their journey of success." Nina noticed her and greeted her, "Hi, Best! Napadaan ka?" The former replied, "Uh, wala lang nangangamusta lang. Wala kasi akong magawa sa bahay, day off ko." 

They went out after a long day of their office. Pilla's drving while the two are in the passenger seats. "Where would you guys like to eat for tonight?" Pilla asked. "I think I would like to drink nalang." Rea replied. "No, we won't. Baka kung ano na naman magawa mo." Nina teasingly replied. Rea then jokingly punch her.

They're now eating and Pilla asked the two.
"So, gaano na kayo katagal magkaibigan?" Nina answered, "since we were 10" Rea looked at her while creasing her forehead and says, "No! We were friends since we're 8. How can you misremember that?" Nina's surprised, "Oh shit. I'm sorry Rea. I'll hug you nalang" She's hugging her but Rea is taking her arms away from her.

Instead of laughing at Rea and Nina, Pilla felt annoyed and her mood changed. The two didn't notice her since they're enjoying their moment. "Tsk. Childish. Corny. I can do better than her, Nina." the thoughts in Pilla's mind.
