2 weeks have passed

Rea woke up at 5 a.m. to get ready for her meeting with her father.

She didn't get the chance to inform Nina about it because of their busy schedules.

In Mr. Legaspi's backyard

"Good morning, Pa" Rea greeted then mano to her father.

"Parating na rin si Victor. Hintayin lang natin," he said which confused Rea.

"Ano na naman kayo 'to," she thought.

After a while, Victor came.

"Good morning, Tito," he greeted.

"Pa. That's what you should call me from now on," he said tapping Victor's shoulder.

"Pa? Anong nangyayari?" Rea asked.

"Sit down, hijo"

He obliged.

Looking at Victor, he said, "You two are getting an engagement party from your grandma, Victor"

Mr. Legaspi turned his eyes to Rea. He was observing the woman's expressions.

"Pa. Hindi pa naman nagiging kami. Bakit may engagement party kaagad?" she said.

"Doon din naman ang punta ninyo. Bakit n'yo pa patatagalin?" he said then crossed his hands.

"Ginawa 'yun ni Lola? Talaga, Tito?" Victor happily asked.

"I said, you should call me, Pa from now on. Didn't I?" Mr. Legaspi said.

"Oh, yes. Pa"

Rea can't do anything but listen to the two while frowning.

"Yes. Your father called me yesterday then he told me about it" he said. "Kailangan n'yo gustong maganap?" he added.

"This Friday po" Victor said.

"What?!--" Rea shouted.

"Okay. Magpapahanap nalang ako ng organizer," Mr. Legaspi said ignoring Rea. He then stood up.

Mr. Legaspi was about to leave but Rea uttered. "Pa. I don't want to marry him. Please pa. Don't do this to me...again."

Mr. Legaspi thought of facing her but he chose not to. He started to walk away.

Rea was left angrily.

"Rea. Stop the act. Nagawa mo na 'to noon. What's stopping you?" Victor said.
