•~Amelia's P.O.V~•
"Do you think Daddy's girlfriend will like me, Jenny?" I asked stupidly as if she'd respond in a full sentence.

I put in a pair of pearl earrings before I checked out my outfit. I tried to look presentable but not too much that I looked out of place when I walked into the Dairy Queen.

I wore skinny jeans and a red t-shirt that I liked because it fits me well. Due to the weather, I dressed Jenny in a onesie with blue snowflakes on it with a matching hat. With that, I gave her a pair of blue socks and white shoes. I put her inside her car seat with a small fluffy white blanket for her to keep warm.

In the car, I gave her a simple white pacifier that kept her content. I looked back a couple of times, to see her slowly falling asleep.

I couldn't help but feel nervous. I'd never heard of Amber before and if I did, I'd try to impress her with anything I knew she liked or would impress her. However, I knew nothing about her or what she even looked like.

I pulled up in the parking lot, taking a deep breath before I unbuckled Jenny's car seat and took her inside with me. I saw Johnny, who quickly waved me over to the table he was sitting at.

The girl who I assumed was Amber stood up to greet me. She had white, almost blonde hair and blue eyes. She seemed to be extremely bubbly and happy.

"I'm Amber, you must be Amelia and this must be Jenny!" She squealed.

"Yes, it's nice to finally meet you, Amber," I said, giving her a small smile.

"Seems like Johnny has a type." I heard her mutter.

"What?" She looked up at me.

"Oh, nothing." Amber and Johnny sat down in the booth across from Jenny and me. "So how old is she?" Amber asked, talking about Jenny.

"Seven months." She smiled and looked at Jenny.

"She's adorable." She said.

"Thank you." I chuckled a bit. "So um, how did you and Johnny meet?" I asked, hoping to make it less awkward than it felt.

"We actually met here, he asked me to call him later that night." I suddenly remembered how many times he'd rush to the phone as soon as it rang.

"Aw, that's sweet."

"So how did you and Johnny meet, you know before me and before Jenny," Amber asked, taking a sip of her coke.

"School," I said blankly, feeling slightly annoyed. Maybe I was overreacting, but I didn't like this bitches attitude.

"Aw, how cliché." I clenched my jaw, slightly.

Amber seemed to be one of those prissy popular girls that I always hated in high school. They seemed nice at first but turned out to be real bitches to anyone else besides their boyfriends.

"Well, it was nice meeting you, Amber," I glared, "but I have more important things to do than talk to your bitchy ass." I stood up and grabbed Jenny's car seat before I walked away, hearing Johnny apologize over and over to her.
