Someone else turned on the lights. We immediately pulled away from each other.
Sarah, John B. and Pope were all in front of us just staring. This was awkward as shit.JJ suddenly threw my shirt at me. Oh right.
"What the fuck?"Pope said
"What the shit" John b said
"Oh here we go again" JJ said
"Are you guys seriously having sex?!?" Pope said
"Well we were about to but we were rudely interrupted" JJ said
"What're you guys doing here" I said while I put my shirt on.
"We left the movie a little early to beat traffic.. I thought you were with your mom?" Sarah asked
"Is that really what you're concerned about right now Sarah? No one else confused why they were half naked and all over each other?!" Pope said
"I thought you guys hated each other?" Sarah asked
"Well we did but .."
"But you guys were too horny" Pope said to me aggressively
"Woah man calm the fuck down" Jj said defending me.
"Okay yeah calm down I'll calms down you guys are just sleeping together until you get angry again and try to break up the group don't you remember what happened last time?!"
"You don't even know the full story dude"JJ said to him.
"All I know is you can't keep it in your pants!"
"You're just mad because she didn't pick you!" Jj said and the room went silent.
"This is ridiculous I'll see you guys tomorrow" Pope said storming out the door
"JJ you're not gonna talk to him?" I asked
"Oh uh he'll get over it .. yeah he'll get over it ..trust me" he said
"What happened to no more secrets?" Sarah said said sadly
"Look Sarah I was going to tell you I promise I was waiting till midsummers"
"But were you really?"
"Yes!! I promise"
"Ok.. I'm just gonna go to bed I can't do this tonight" she said. She doesn't believe me.
"Sarah please" She didn't respond she just walked away.
"Um so this is weird as shit.. I guess I'll leave you two alone" John B said walking into his room. I sat there defeated.
"We messed up" I said
"No we didn't"
"What are you talking about we literally just got caught and they're mad at us again!" I said
"Well they're going have to deal with it.. they were going to find out sooner or later.. they just need to get over the fact that we like each other" he said . Oh we "like" each other. I know he was trying to comfort me but it's hurt knowing he doesn't love me back, but what did I expect. I just looked down at my lap sadly.
"Hey hey what's wrong" he said grabbing my face gently.
"It's just I had whole plan of how everything was gonna go .. I'm so tired of the fighting" Also you don't love me. But I didn't say that.
"Look Kie I promise you they'll get over this .. I'm not letting anything come between us this time .. not Pope, Not boarding school..everything will be ok I promise" he said
" I hope you're right" I said
"When am i not?" He said making me giggle and roll my eyes.
"Sooo should we continue where we left off or is the mood ruined orrr" He stated and i rolled my eyes again and stood up.
"Cmon" I said holding out my hand for him to take and leading us into the spare bedroom.
*Next morning*
When I woke up I laid in bed for a while. I wasn't ready to face the day. I woke JJ up and he immediately started complaining about being hungry.
"Youuu should make some waffles" he suggested
" hmmm how about no and also I'm more of a pancake girl"
"Should've known you were a traitor" He said shaking his head
"Oh shut up" I laughed and we both stood up. I opened the door and we both walked out. What we didn't know is Pope had returned. John B, Sarah and Pope were looking at me and a shirtless JJ standing next to me.
"Oh you gotta be kidding me" Pope said
"Good morning to you too sunshine" JJ said
"Alright I'm leaving"Pope said
"Oh no need I'm leaving I just need.. hmm where is it" JJ said looking around the couch for his shirt that threw somewhere last night.
"Ahh there it is" he said reaching behind Pope who looked furious.
"Alright come on" I said to JJ who was standing in front of Pope. I walked out the door and he followed.
"Did you see that? Sarah wouldn't even make eye contact with me" I said annoyed
"Kie it's okay after midsummer's you can explain it all I'm sure she'll understand"
"Let's hope"
We stopped and got breakfast then I drove us back to my house so JJ could get his bike.
"Alright well this is probably the last time I'll see you before midsummer's.. my mom actually does need help today"
"Okay well I will see you tomorrow then" he said kissing me
"JJ everything will be okay right?"
"Of course .. I'm never wrong" he said and I rolled my eyes
"Okay bye" I said as he walked to his bike and I walked inside
"Hey mom"
"Oh hey sweetie, are you so excited for midsummer's tomorrow??" She asked with a smile
"Yeah actually.." it was true I was excited, excited to go with JJ.
