Lee Kyunghee and Kim Jongwoon used to be friends. They were each others saviour when one gets bullied. They were the best of friends, best buddies. They were simply inseperable. Even their parents are really close with each other too. Mr. Lee and Mr. Kim built a company together, that was a sign of their family friendship whereas the latter is the CEO and Mr. Lee as the vice president.

Because of their family unbreakable bond, both parties agreed on Kyunghee and Jongwoon's marriage in the right time. And the both of them secretly waited for that day to come.

Everything was getting smoothly at their families until Mr. Lee demand for the CEO position where Mr. Kim had been holding for eight years. "I want to be the new CEO, I want that position." Mr. Lee firmly said that day. Mr. Kim let out a chuckle and look at him, raising his eyebrows. "What? Are you kidding me?" he laughed. "What do you know about this world?"

Mr. Lee stiffened. He extremely know the flows on that kind of world but he didn't expect his bestfriend to doubt his abilities. "I know everything!" Mr. Lee frowned. "Youre holding that position for a long time now, and our shares in this damn company is just equal! Then why youre position is higher than mine?!" he burst. Mr. Kim look at him intently. "Fine. If you really want to be a CEO then build another company." he remarked. "I'll never give this position to you."

If there was something he really hated, it is losing that highest position to anyone, even to his friend. It was what his family needed. It was what he wants.

After that argument, both fathers didn't allow their son and daughter to see each other. The family bond they thought was unbreakable, broke that day.

Just an argument. A misunderstanding but both Kyunghee and Jongwoon's life changed. In their school, Jongwoon became the bully everyone hated. He bullies everyone he wanted. Even Kyunghee. But she didn't mind, she can't simply hate the man she secretly loves.

Jongwoon grew up hating her much each day. His father had told him about her family secrets which was actually a lie. He even hated her more when she always the top one on their class, and him as the second. The tension get even worse when Lee Family build a company that became Kim's Family greatest competetor in the world of business. The war between families continued in the next years.

Kyunghee sip her wine as she close her eyes, stopping herself from crying. Life is indeed cruel, she thought. No matter how hard she think, she didn't know why she have to witness the engagement party of Jongwoon, the man she still loves with another girl. His family invited her and her family, not because of friendship but to obviously show them how their company will get even succesful after the marriage of their son with the only daughter of Park Family, who was known well in business world. Kyunghee glanced intently at his fiancé, Jiyeon Park as she greets her guests happily. 

Jiyeon is as beautiful as Kyunghee is. If you were to put them beside each other, you'll surely thought they are twins. They really look-alike. That's why she didn't know why he had to choose someone who looks like her if he hates him.

Luna, her bestfriend elbowed her lightly, that cause her to snap out of her thoughts. "What?" she asked. "Jongwoon haven't arrive yet, he's late for thirty minutes now." Luna whispered. Kyunghee look around to find his parents and saw them smiling, not minding if he is late. She was about to look away when she saw their butler running towards his parents, panting. She swiftly move nearer to eardrops. "Mr. Kim! We have a problem!" the butler said, still catching his breath.
