The next day, you woke up in Eddie's arms. You smile and place a soft kiss on his jaw before getting up from bed.

You walk to the kitchen and see Wayne leaning against the counter with a cup of coffee in one hand and the newspaper in the other.

"Good morning, Wayne." You say with a smile as you grab a mug and pour yourself a cup of coffee

"Morning pumpkin, sleeping alright?" He asked while putting the newspaper down and brining the mug up to his lips

"I'm sleeping amazing, thank you for letting me stay here." You say with a smile as you walk over to the fridge and grab the milk and pour it in your coffee

"I've said it once and I'll say it again, I love having you here. You make my boy very happy." He said with a smile as he put his mug down

"Wayne?" You ask while stirring your coffee

"Yes, Vallie?" He said while putting his full attention onto you

"How many of Eddie's girlfriends have you met?" You asked while lifting the mug off of the counter

"Including you?" He asked

You nod your head and take a sip of your coffee, you were nervous because even though Eddie had never given you a reason not to trust him, you still had your wall up

"Well that makes a grand total of," He began to write fake numbers in the air with his eyes squinted, "Carry the one, distribute the 8.. and that leaves a total of one. I met one girlfriend, you."

You laugh softly at his doing the math then you nod you head slowly and poke your tongue against the your top lip

"Why do you ask?" Wayne asks while drinking the last of his coffee

"This girl, Lisa Campbell." You say quietly, not wanting Eddie to hear you and Wayne talking about it

"Lisa? That psycho?" Wayne asked while refilling his coffee

"Psycho?" You asked with your head tilt

"Yeah, she's crazy. She tells everyone she took Eddie's virginity and that he took hers but in reality, it wasn't even sex. I was here when it happened. Eddie phoned me in a panic. I told him to drop her ass off at home and never talk to her again." Wayne said before taking a drink of his coffee

"He never brought her here?" You asked

"Nope. You are the only girl he's brought into this here trailer." He said

You smile and look down at your coffee. Maybe Eddie really did care as much as everyone tells you.

"You bring out the best in him. You know that?" Wayne says, snapping you out of your thoughts

"I do?" You say with a small smile

"I ain't seen the boy go to school late, he actually throws the trash when you ask him to, he hasn't made a deal in a while, his room is clean, and his attitude is always happy." Wayne said while looking at you

"I want the best for him." You say as you trace the rim of your mug with your finger

"He's already got the best." Wayne said as he gulped down his coffee and walked over to you

He grabbed the back of your head and pressed a kiss on your temple before placing his mug in the sink

"I've got to go out of town for about a month or so, this company wants me to go work for them because something along the lines of 'poor men work harder.' I already told Eddie last night but keep this trailer in one piece. Don't do anything you wouldn't do if I were here. No parties. You can go to them but do not throw them here." Wayne said as he grabbed his luggage
