As graduation came around the corner, Eddie got weird with you. He was doing deals again, he was never at the trailer and if he was, he would tell you he was busy and that you needed to leave. You talked to Wayne about it and he always said, 'It's probably nothing' or 'Pumpkin, he's probably freaking out about graduating finally.' He was probably right, but something inside you was telling you that it was much deeper than that. Something was bothering him.

You walk up to June's door and knock, a few seconds pass before you hear the sound of thudding and then the door opens. You smile and June pulls you in for a hug, "God, I missed you." June whispers as she hugs you tighter. You sigh and hug her back just as tightly. She pulls away from the hug and tugs you up to her room. Robin smiles as you enter the room and walks over to hug you. You hug her back and smile, and Robin felt a weight lift off of her chest when she realized the smile you had was genuine.

The three of you sit down and catch up which was nice but you were in desperate need of a conversation about Eddie's behavior.

June and Robin share a look before they both turn to you, "Alright, spill it. What's got you all anxious and worried like you are right now?" June asked as she crossed her legs on her bed. You sigh and take a deep breath, "Eddie, we were great but now he's just distant. I mean, we have sex and everything but he's not like how he was before. Something just seems off to me about him and it's fucking killing me." You sigh as you throw yourself back and let your back hit the floor.

June and Robin share a mutual look before grabbing each arm and pulling you up, "Val, do you maybe think he's still embarrassed by what Lisa did to him?" Robin enlightens as she played with the shoelaces of her boots.

You look down at your lap and bite down on the inside of your cheek, "June, Robin," You call to them as you look at them, "I want to know, why didn't you guys tell me about Eddie?" You asked and they looked at each other before looking at you, "He asked us not to, he said he was embarrassed and that you hated him so it wouldn't make a difference if you knew or not, so, he chose for you not to know. We were just respecting his wishes." Robin explained.

You nod your head slowly, taking in what they said to you, "Am I overthinking this?" You asked. The girls nod their heads and while agreeing with you, causing you to plop down onto the floor and groan, "God, I wish I knew what he was doing right now but no, he refuses to tell me things." You complain, then blow raspberry with your lips.

Robin shrugged her shoulders while holding her hands in the air, "You need to not worry about it babe, you're going to stress yourself out and then it's going to cause a fight between the two of you and no one wants that. I mean, hello, look at what happened!" She said as she dropped her hands to her lap.

You shake your head and chuckle, "You're right, I'm overthinking it. Maybe he's just busy like he actually says and that's why he's been so distant." You couldn't shake the doubt in your heart because everything has has been going great with you and Eddie, yet his distance had you worried. You knew you couldn't lie to Robin, "Robin, I can't shake this feeling that something is going on, and he's not telling me. Wayne has even told me that it's nothing serious." You admit and Robin and June no their heads. June sighs and shrugs, "Babe, don't beat yourself up about it, it's only going drive you more insane." June puts forth.

Robin nods her head in agreement, "It's always been Eddie and Valerie, you know that."

You shake your head, "No, it hasn't because when my whole world got torn apart because of she who will not be named, there was not Eddie and I. I left and it was at the darkest time of his life. I left. I went with someone else and I felt like I couldn't find home. Eddie is my home and it scares the shit out of me because he could leave at any given moment. He could leave me."
