As June pulls up to the Tina's house, you didn't really want to go to this stupid party at Tina's but you hate saying 'no' to June because she hardly ever gets out due to her working all the time or because her parents are fighting for some dumbass reason.

June's excitement came pouring out as she sat in the drivers seat, bouncing on the seat like a child, "This is going to be so fun!" She squeals as she takes a hold of your hand.

You roll your eyes, "It's just another party, June." You snap, instantly regretting doing so because June's smile faded and she took the keys out of the ignition. She forced a smile, "You're hurting so I'm just going to assume you're being rude to me because you're still super mad at Eddie. That being said, I'm going to let you cool off, okay?"

June got out of the car and walked into the party and you sigh. Robin climbed to the front seat and looked with you with a pity smile, "Hey, it's okay. This Eddie situation is really eating at you, I get it." Robin comforts you as she pulls you into her arms and you use everything in you to not cry.

"Robin, I'm sorry." Your voice broke and Robin shook her as she rested her chin on top of your head, "Baby, no, it's okay." She assures as she ran her fingers through your hair. She grabs a hold of your face and makes you look at her before speaking, "Let's go in there and have a goddamn good time, yeah? Eddie is here and you two can take some time to talk then the pity party is over and you both are going to have fun and party with our friends."

You nod your head and you both make your way into the party. As soon as you walk into the door you see Eddie waiting by the stairs with his arms crossed and his foot tapping at a fast rate. He looks up from the floor and sees you next to Robin. He immediately walks over to you, grabbing your hand and pulled you to a secluded area.

You lean against the wall and cross your arms over your chest, Eddie keeps his stare on you as you look anywhere but at him. "Vallie, would you look at me, please?" Eddie pleaded as he stepped closer to you. You look up at him and he holds onto your arms, "I'm so sorry for invalidating you feelings earlier, I got defensive and I didn't like the fact that it ended that way." Eddie explains.

You nod your head, "We're fine." You reply while shrugging your shoulders. You could feel the tension
between you and Eddie. It felt weird and off, all of it
was gnawing at you for an escape. The last thing you wanted was to make the fight between you and Eddie worse by the painful tension and for everyone to see. Eddie drops his head to rest against yours, "No ma'am, we're not doing that. We are going to talk this out, you understand?" Eddie says as he pushes his forehead off of your and scratches his cheek.

Eddie knows you're lying and putting your guard up
to hide away your emotions, and you could tell that
you were on the verge of snapping. You avoid looking into his chestnut-brown eyes, but you know how intense his stare is.

"Eddie, I said we're fine. I was upset earlier but we're good now, okay?" You snap while looking up at him. There it was, you snapped. It was like a twig snapping off a tree. You watch Eddie take a step back when he realizes that you weren't in the talking mood, and he nods his head."Okay, um, have fun at this party and don't wander off unless Steve or myself is with you, got it?" Eddie commands as he shoved his hands in his pockets.

You watch Eddie shift in his stance a little as he looked around the place. You raise a brow to his questioning stance but quickly change your expression when he looks back at you."Okay." That was all you could say to him. You walk to the party, now joined with Robin. Robin knew you better than anyone, she can see that you were trying to have fun, but it wasn't working. "Hey, let's go get something to drink?" Robin asks as she rests her hand on the small of your back. You nod and let her guide you to where all the drinks are.
