the party

You, June and Robin finally pull up to Steve's house. You see how packed the party is and look to your friends. "This party is crazy packed." You say

As ten minutes pass, you nervously look at your watch. Eddie was no where to be found. He said he would meet you at the party since he had something to do beforehand.

"Where is he?" You say while peering out of the window. June places her hand on your shoulder making you turn to look at her, "Hey, I'm sure he's on his way. Eddie wouldn't ditch you."

Soon enough you see Eddie walking over to the car you were currently in, you smile as you look at him. He looks so good.

Eddie wore ripped black jeans, along with a black button up with the top three buttons undone showing the silver chain that dangles from his neck. You mentally fan yourself at the sight as he jogs up to your door.

Eddie opens your door, holding a hand out for you to grab. You take his hand and he closes the door behind you.

Eddie looks you up and down, a smirk forming on his face, "God, you are so beautiful." Eddie says before pulling you closer to him.

You smile as you place your hands on his chest, tip toeing upwards to press a kiss on his lips.

"Why must you and Eddie be the hottest couple ever? Like look at them! They compliment each other perfectly." June says as she looks at you and Eddie.

"Is Tannis coming?" Eddie asks as he wraps his arms around your shoulder.

"Yeah, I think he's coming at like 11 because he's closing." June says while locking her car

You look at Steve's house and see beer cans all over the front yard, people talking, making out, and drinking.

You take a hold of Eddie's hand and lead him to the party. Robin and June follow behind you and Eddie, all four of you talking.

As soon as you walk in you see Steve shotgun a beer. You drag Eddie through the crowd of people and make your way to Steve.

"Hey, you made it!" Steve says while wrapping his arms around you. You hug him back and laugh, he was indeed buzzed.

"You feel good?" Eddie says while trying to hide a smile as he looks at tipsy Steve.

"I feel great." Steve says while throwing his arm over Eddie's shoulder, "Now, you. Do you feel good? Have you drank yet? LET ME GET YOU A BEER!"

The four of you laugh at Steve before talking amongst yourselves. Steve came back with beers for all of you and a closed lipped smile on his face.

"Don't freak out but, Lisa is here." Steve says lowly as he passes the beer to you.

You nod your head once and look up at Eddie beside you with a smile. Eddie grabs your hand and twirls you around in front of him, your back pressing against his chest, placing a kiss on your cheek.

An hour passes, you and Eddie were now playing beer pong against Steve and Robin.

"In! It's in! TAKE THE FUCKING DRINK EDDIE!" Steve yells out.

Eddie rolls his eyes before taking the ball out of the cup and drinking the beer from the cup. He tosses the cup to the side and wipes the beer that slid down his chin.

Eddie wraps his arm around your waist, "This one's for you, baby!" Eddie shouts out while aiming at the cup.

Eddie makes it in the cup and everyone cheers and Eddie wraps his arms around you and lifts you up and twirls you around, peppering kisses all over your face before setting you down, keeping his hand on your waist. You feel someone's eyes on you so you turn your head and see Lisa staring dead at you.

You look away, slightly pulling from Eddie's grip. "Hey," you look over to June, "Fill in for me? I need to use the bathroom." You say, June nods and you make your way through the crowd.

You walk upstairs to Steve's room and close the door behind you, pacing around. The door opens and you knew exactly who it was.

"It's so funny to me that you and Eddie don't look broken up at all." Lisa says while closing the door behind her and locking it.

"Lisa, I'm not letting you dictate my relationship with Eddie. I don't know what went down with you two but that's between you." You say, you watch as she crosses her arms and pokes her cheek with her tongue.

A look of satisfaction washes over her face, "Okay, no pressure." She says while putting her hands up in defense.

You brush past her and head back down to the party, shoving anyone who was in your way. You see Eddie still at the beer pong table, the biggest smile appears on his face when he sees you. You make your way over to him reciprocating the same smile.

"There you are, I was just about to go look for you." Eddie says while wrapping his arm around you.

You felt eyes watching you and you thought it was Lisa again but this time, it was everyone. You peer around and see that there was whispers as they look at you and Eddie.

You walk up to one of the girls gossiping and cross your arms, "What are you saying?" You say. "What, Eddie wasn't enough so you had to give a blowjob to the king of Hawkins high?" She says before walking away.

Eddie's POV:

I watch as Vallie walks up to girls and talks to them, when the girls walked away I see pure fear on Vallie's face. Something bad is about to happen.

"Everyone, gather 'round!" One of the guys across
the room drunkenly boasted, "We have some
interesting information to share about Mr. Jason
Carver and Ms. Valerie Wheeler!" He cheers while
holding his beer.

When the drunken player says Vallie's and Jason's
names, everyone shifts their gazes between them
both. 'What information could these assholes have
about my girl? And why is Carver involved?' I
wonder as I look at Vallie's scared face. I squint my
eyes, and I can see her entire body shake like a leaf
on a chilly night. Why does she look so scared? I
clench my fists as my protective instincts take over,
and I feel my rings pinching my fingers but I don't
fucking care for the pain. All that matters to me is
protecting my special girl from the hurtful words
spewing out from the drunken people at this party. I
knew this was a bad idea.

Before I can move my feet to take her away from all
of this, I hear the other drunken man speak. I slowly
shift my eyes to where they stood then narrow them
as I and the rest of the people here listen to the next
stupid thing come out of their mouths.

"While the goody-girl, Valerie Wheeler has been
dating Eddie 'The Freak' Munson, she gave head to
Jason Carver!" The other drunken idiot said while
nudging his friend's side before they toasted their
beers together, "I have to say, she is definitely a
beauty with many talents!"

Something inside me snapped, and all I can
see is red. I charge at Jason like a bull and start
punching him relentlessly. I can hear my sweet girl's
voice begging me to stop, but I can't. I want to give
Carver a taste of his own medicine.

Jason got his fair share of hits on me but I didn't stop at all. I hover over him as I continuously throw punch after punch violently.

Everything I was seeing was red. Blind rage filled my body as I bash Jason's face in.
