Wanda's world froze as she stood there, unable to process the words that had just been spoken. Her eyes dropped to the ground, her mind racing with thoughts and emotions, but her mouth couldn't seem to form coherent words. It was as if she was trapped in a nightmare, unable to escape.

"Isn't there anything you're going to say?" Natasha's voice pierced the air, laced with fury and hurt.

"W- Nat, I - it was - it didn't..." Wanda stuttered, her words barely intelligible. She knew she needed to say something, but her brain was scrambling to come up with an explanation that wouldn't make things worse.

Just as Wanda thought things couldn't get any worse, Natasha's laughter cut through the air, a cold, mirthless sound. "I can't believe this," Natasha repeated, wiping away tears of anger. "You're supposed to be my wife, and you're sleeping with Vision? He's my best friend!"

The more Natasha thought about it, the angrier she became. Her fists clenched, her jaw locked in a tight grip.

"Nat, I didn't," Wanda whispered, her voice trembling.

"What didn't you do?" Natasha yelled, her face red with rage.

"I didn't...it didn't happen," Wanda repeated, trying to keep her voice steady.

Just as it seemed like things couldn't get any worse, Billy's small voice piped up from the doorway. "Mama?"

Wanda's heart heavy with concern, she walked over to Billy and scooped him up into her arms. "Hey, it's okay, baby. Mama and I are just fine," she said softly, trying to reassure him. She tucked him back into bed and gave him a gentle kiss on the forehead. "Let's get you back to sleep, sweetie."

As she closed the door behind Billy, Wanda let out a deep sigh. The weight of the situation crashed down on her again. She had to confront the anger and hurt that Natasha was feeling, and she didn't know how to make it right. She opened the bedroom door again, steeling herself for the conversation that lay ahead.

Wanda entered the room, trying to calm the tension, but Natasha was already gathering her belongings. "Wait, where are you going?" Wanda asked, trying to stop her.

"To sleep on the couch, where do you think I'm going?" Natasha spat, her voice dripping with anger.

"No, we have to talk about this. It's not what you think," Wanda pleaded, but Natasha was already turning to leave.

"Not what you think?" Natasha repeated, her eyes blazing with fury. "It is exactly what I think!" she yelled, her voice echoing through the room.

Wanda grabbed hold of Natasha's arm, trying to hold her back. "No, Nat. It's really not what you think," she said, desperation creeping into her voice.

But Natasha shook her off, her face twisted in rage. "So Billy's lying then? Is that what you're saying?" she demanded.

"No, but Billy is just a kid," Wanda said, trying to reason with her. "He doesn't know what he saw!"

Natasha's eyes narrowed. "Oh, don't insult my son's intelligence like that!" she snapped.

"That's not what I'm saying," Wanda protested. "Billy just...he didn't see the whole thing."

Natasha's grip on her pillow tightened. "Billy what? He imagined you and Vision in my bed? Saw something that wasn't there? I don't understand..."

Wanda's voice cracked as she finally lost control. "Billy didn't see the part where saying no wasn't an option because Vision threatened me!" she yelled, her words tearing through the air like a raw wound.
