EVA JUMPED AS SHE COME OUT OF THE BATHROOM AND NEARLY HUSHED JEREMIAH.

"Sorry." she said.

"Hi." he smiled.

"Hi." she smiled back.

He took a step closer and placed a kiss on her lips to greet her. She smiled and felt her heart quicken. It was crazy the effect he had on her every time he touched her.

"I was wondering if you wanted to have a picnic on the beach during the week. I was thinking maybe Wednesday. What do you think?"

"I would love that." she replied as her smile grew even wider.

"Get out of there, you're taking up all the space." Louis told them, jostling his sister to enter the bathroom.

She kicked him just before he closed the door and rolled her eyes in amusement. Everyone had quickly learned that Jeremiah and Eva were now dating. To be honest, it didn't surprise anyone.

"I should go change. Your mom wanna paint me in my dress, so..." she said, pointing to her room, she was still in her pajamas.

"Yeah, I should too." he agreed, shirtless.

"Okay." she giggled. "See you later then."

She walked towards him and placed her two hands on his chest before kissing him gently. He kissed her back with a smile and she pulled away before heading to her bedroom. She waved at him before closing the door and Jeremiah smiled as he turned away.

A few minutes later, Eva was sitting cross-legged on the stone wall in front of the pool, her dress spread around her. Her hair was tied back in a ponytail and her hands were resting on her legs.

Susannah painted her with a big smile, delighted to have managed to get her to participate in the debutante ball. Jeremiah, Steven and Louis left the house to go to work and Jere smiled, seeing his girlfriend. They made faces that made her laugh and the Fisher mom hastened to chase them away gently so she could finish her painting. Before leaving, Jeremiah turned to Eva and flashed her a smile.

"You're really beautiful." he mouthed silently.

She smiled and felt her cheeks flush with pleasure. She gave him a look and he sent her a wink before leaving.

"How are you with Jer?" Susannah asked her while painting.

"Really good. He's wonderful." Eva nodded.

"Yeah? I'm glad. You guys were meant to be together. I could feel it since you were born." the woman smiled. "I'm happy you finally are dating. He really loves you."

"He told you?" Eva asked.

"Yeah, but it wasn't hard to guess anyway. He's always looking at you like you're the eighth wonder of the world. That's really cute."

"He does?"

"Oh yeah, believe me, he does." Susannah laughed.

"I love him too." the brunette smiled.

"I know, sweetie."

When Susannah finished her portrait, Eva came upstairs and knocked on Belly's bedroom door and jumped on the bed.

"Hi, Taylor!"

"Hi, Eva! Belly just told me you were dating Jeremiah now! Congratulations, you guys go so well together."

"Thanks a lot." laughed the brunette.

"And Belly was also telling me that Conrad invited her to the ball. She should tell him no after all the shit he's done, you agree with me, right?"

"Well, I mean... it's true that he wasn't necessarily always very nice this summer but, uh, I don't know, I mean-"

"Girls, are you ready?" Laurel asked, entering the room. "I'm gonna take you over."

"Oh! Can I drive?" Belly gasped.

"Oh! No." Laurel imitated her before leaving the room.

Susannah was making her speech to announce the start of the match when Eva saw Jeremiah near the courts. She approached him and slipped her arms around his waist.

"Hello, you." he smiled.

"Hi."

He took her by the waist and kissed her, then she rested her head on his shoulder to listen to the end of the speech. When everyone started to leave, Eva saw Eliott who was standing next to the bar and she turned to Jeremiah.

"I'll be back in a few." she told him.

"Okay."

She kissed him on the cheek and walked over her friend. She patted his shoulder and he smiled when he saw her. They hugged for a while and began to chat happily. Eliott offered her a drink, which she accepted with a nod and a smile, not noticing Jeremiah's gaze on them. Taylor approached him and followed his look.

"Oh please. Don't even sweat it. He's in the rearview."

"You sure about that?" he asked, not very convinced.

"One hundred percent. She's totally into you." Taylor said. "Plus, I'm team Jeva. I've got your back." she winked before walking away.

"Thanks." Jeremiah chuckled.

He gave Eva and Eliott another look. The brunette was laughing at something he said to her, and Jeremiah knew the boy clearly had a thing for her. He just hoped it wasn't mutual.
