The next day I sat in between—this wonderful woman by the name of—Maeve's legs while her beautifully gifted hands worked through my, right now, wet hair. I ended up taking my braids out last night well really this morning. I just felt like dealing with my natural hair for a few days.

Maeve helped me with taking them out—even though it was around two in the morning— and I am extremely grateful.

When I woke up, hours later, I immediately started working on my hair. Getting it detangled and washed throughly to which my beautiful partner in crime helped me with. I did have to warn her that my wash days were pretty much an all day thing but she didn't shy away and instead insisted on helping me.

I am thankful for the help because two hands are always better than one.

Currently Maeve is helping detangled my hair some more after my very relaxing shower and wash. She made sure to work throughly in my thick curly hair. I an beyond thankful and happy that for once it wasn't my arms hurting.

I leaned my head and pouted my lips making her giggle and lean down to give me an upside down kiss to which I grinned at.

"Do you want me to order some food?" I then asked making her enthusiastically nod her head yes. I grab my phone from my lap and dial the number to a local chinese place. I order for us both, already knowing her order and was given the price and time frame which was thankfully only thirty minutes.

Maeve's hands soon dropped from my hair before she gave me a proud smile. "I'm finished" she said happily making me smile as well and turn my head to press my lips to hers as I stand to my feet.

"Thank you baby" I whispered against her soft and perfect lips.

Maeve hummed against them and loosely wrapped her arms around my neck as she stood to her foot as well. "What now" she asked making me pull away to head to the bathroom once more.

"I need to diffuse it and then I'm done"

"Do you need help?" she then asks him as her curious eyes looks at hairdryer that I grab from underneath the sink.

"No baby. I got this." I tell her and peck her lips quickly one more time. She stepped away once I pulled away and promised to wait for me in the living room.

It took me some to diffuse my hair. I changed out of the towel that I was wearing and into a pair of short shorts and one of Maeve's shirts. I walked into the living room and saw Maeve bringing in a bag of food.

"Just in time. The food is here" she said sending me a soft smile. I grinned as well and found myself settling down next to her on the couch.

"It smells amazing" I comment and help her with opening the bags, pulling the food out.

Maeve opened a container and grabbed a fork before looking at me. "Is that my shirt?" she asked making me nod and take a bite of my food.

"Yup"

She rolled her eyes and leaned over to peck my lips before focusing back on the food in front of her. "Your shirts are comfy" I defend making her smile.

"Yours are too"

We eat in silence. It wasn't uncomfortable or awkward but rather very comfortable and refreshing. I cuddled against her with my head on her shoulder as I ate, often closing my eyes in delight.

"Hi" Twelve year old me looked up to see a girl standing in front of me with a nervous and shy look on her face.

"Hey" I grinned and moved over on the bench so she could sit down. "I'm Divine" I told the pretty girl and watched as she grinned as well, sitting down next to me.

"I'm Maeve"

"You're very pretty Maeve" I couldn't help but comment as I stared at her. She blushed and shook her head.

"No I'm not"

A frown settled on my face and I shook my head. "I never lie and please believe me when I say you are very beautiful. Definitely the prettiest girl I ever met"

Again she blushed and looked away from me to look around us. "I think you're pretty too Divine" She then told me making me smile once more.

"Thank you"

"What are you thinking about?" Maeve asked me, snapping me out my daydream. I shake my head with a small smile. "Just thinking about how happy you make me" I reply.

She blushed at my words and shook her head. "I don't think you understand how happy you make me" She says and plays with my fingers some before connecting our hands. "I can never thank you enough for all you do for me Divine"

Her words caused me to frown and look at her in confusion. "I haven't done anything Maeve" I whisper and watch as she moved our now empty food container, placing them on the coffee table. She snuggled back into my arms, our legs tangled in each other and I looked into her eyes as she smiled at me.

"Every second I spend with you is another second where I'm at my happiest. I know we haven't been together for a long time but I know that no one has ever made me as happy as you make me." She continued and I couldn't help but smile as tears pricked at my eyes.

I kissed her lips gently and held her face in my hands. "You are absolutely amazing do you know that?" I whisper against her lips as I stare into her eyes.

"You make me amazing" She tells me and I let out a small laugh as I shake my head, pecking her lips again.

"You're so corny" I tell her making her laugh as well. She buries her face in my chest and I hold her, softly rubbing her back. We stayed there for the remainder of the night, just enjoying each other's company.
