I think I'm drunk.

Actually no, I'm definitely drunk.

I giggle uncontrollably as Divine gets a shot of henny poured into her mouth by Brandon who cheers for her. I'm currently sitting on her lap while her leg bounced me some.

Sitting on someone's lap while they bounce their leg is the most comforting thing ever.

"It's almost twelve!" I heard Darius scream as he stood a few feet away from us with girls surrounding him. I could tell he definitely is drunk as well but clearly enjoying himself in the sea of girls.

I shift in Divine's arms and bury my face in her neck, sniffing her. She smells like oranges. Fuck that might be my new favorite fruit.

"Are you smelling me" Divine laughed making him hum in response. She only laughed harder and wrapped her arm around me as she pulled me closer.

I may be drunk but I'm not one of those crazy drunks. I'm a sappy and touchy drunk. In my opinion, it's probably worse than a crazy drunk because I get whiny and clingy.

Divine never seems to mind it though. She always gives me what I want especially when I'm drunk.

"Baby come on. Let's go somewhere quieter" Divine taps my bottom twice lightly. I groan but stand to my feet only for her to wrap her arm around my waist from behind.

Fuck I love her.

She follows behind me closely as we try to find somewhere quiet in this large house Darius dragged us to. She never lets her arm slip from around my waist and kisses my head a few times as we walk.

We eventually find an empty room and Divine locks the door behind us to make sure no one busts in. I huff and jump on the large king size bed only for Divine to join me seconds later.

"You excited for the new year baby?" She asks me making me grin and nod my head.

"I'm going into this year with you finally back to me. I can't wait for the new year has in-stored for us."

She shifts and I feel her arm around me again before her adorable self is burying her face in my neck like I was doing before. She moves on top of me making me wrap my arms around her neck loosely and my legs around her waist as she gets comfortable.

"You make me so happy babygirl. I love you so much" She tells me making me grin brightly.

"I love you too baby"

It grows silent but we don't mind it. I close my eyes and simply just enjoy her company as she places soft kisses on the nape of my neck before snuggling more into my neck.

I never want to stop feeling this kind of love with her.

"Baby" I feel my phone ding and look over to the side of me to see it laying on the bed. I lift it up to see it is only five minutes until the clock hits twelve. "We have five minutes before the chaos"

She mumbles something into my neck before huffing loudly. "We should go back down before Darius comes searching for us."

I laugh as she—rather angrily—sits up and moves her hair out of her face. "You so cute" She then tells me and leans down to peck my lips before pulling me to sit up as well.

"You're adorable" I reply and lightly bop her nose with my finger. She scrunches her nose up at me and shakes her head, pecking my lips once more.

"Na huh"

"Yes huh" I giggle and stand to my feet. I walk to the small bathroom that was connected to the room and check my makeup, making sure it didn't get messed up when we laid down.

Nope, still intact.

"I should fuck you in front of this mirror" Divine says suddenly from behind me as she watches me in the mirror.

Oh my god

"Divine no" I laugh and turn around to see her looking down at me with a hungry lustfully look in her eyes. "This is someone's house and their bathroom"

She circles her arms around me and leans down to kiss my neck softly. "They don't know"She replies in my ear as she sucks on my neck, definitely leaving a mark.

"Baby" I whine half moan, wrapping my arms around her neck before tugging on her hair for her to move back. She moans at the tug but lifts her head from my neck, staring into my eyes now.

"Come on I want to do the countdown and kiss you" I say, grinning at her making her shuffle a small groan but nods her head.

We leave the bathroom and exit the room only to find ourselves just as Darius calls out Divine's name. "Yeah" She replies, holding my hand as we walk toward him.

"You seen our sister?" He asks her making her shake her head no.

He opens his mouth to say something further only for him to be cut off by a bunch of people starting to scream as the countdown starts.

Ten.

I look over at Divine to see her already looking at me causing me to blush slightly. She wraps her arms around me and grins at me adorably.

Nine.

"It's happening!" Darius drunkenly yells as he wraps his arm around a random girl who looked annoyed with his foolish antics.

Eight.

I stare into Divine's eyes and lift my hand up to play with a strand of her hair that I'm so in love with. She leans forward to kiss my forehead gently, whispering a small I love you to me.

Seven.

"I love you more" I tell her watching as she scoffs and tells me how impossible that was.

Stubborn woman.

Six.

Five.

Four.

People around us began grabbing their partner or random people to share the new year's kiss with. Everyone was starting to get louder with the countdown as it gets closer to one.

Three.

Two.

Divine swiftly grabs my face in her gentle hands and leans her face to send me a quick smile before leaning in further.

One.

Her lips count to mine as soon as the clock hits twelve and people began to cheer loudly all around us. I wrap my arms around her neck and pull her closer as I kiss her back, deepening the kiss.

"You are my everything Maeve" She whispers against my now swollen lips after a while.

"And you are mine Divine"
