"Where are we going?" I laugh as my beautiful girlfriend leads me blindfolded to what ever surprise she has for me. She made me blindfold myself about twenty minutes into the drive. I laughed at her when she first said it until she actually pulled out the dark purple blindfold.
Definitely using this blindfold later
"You will see baby" She laughs beside me and I hear keys dingle before a door opens. She leads me inside of a very topical smelling room. My body shakes in excitement and I smile brightly as she tells me to wait a moment.
"I'm going to take your blindfold off but I want you to keep your eyes close." I nod my head and I feel her fingers brush against the back of my neck. My breath hitches and I bit my lip, keeping my eyes close as she takes the blindfold off.
She takes my hand and guides me further into the room. "Okay baby open your eyes" Divine whispers from beside me and I smile as I open them.
I gasp holding my hand to mouth as I stare at a beautiful decorated hotel room. A heart made of pink and red roses were on the floor with candles standing around it. "I know you don't like me to spend money on you but I wanted to treat you." Divine says holding my hand warmly.
Tears prick my eyes as I walk further into the room. "There's also something very important I wanted to ask you." She says just as my favorite song ever, Hrs & Hrs by Muni Long. I turn to her and she grins before reaching into her pocket.
"Div—" She cuts me off by getting down on one knee making me shake my head immediately. She pulls out an emerald green engagement ring and I couldn't even try to stop my tears at this point.
"Maeve Freyah you make the happiest woman known to the planet yet alone the universe. I have thought about this moment for a while, longer than you could ever know. I have known I loved you from the moment we met. I knew that I was going to want to wake up every morning to that precious smile of yours. I was going to want to listen you sing my ear off by like a manic." She says causing me to laugh as I sob quietly.
"I love you Maeve and I want to make you Mrs.Maeve Freyah Lovett so will you do me the honor of becoming my partner and everything by marrying me?" She asks me making me instantly jump into her arms screaming the two words we both been denying to hear.
"Yes!"
Smashing my lips onto hers, I lean into her. "I love you so much" I whisper to my fiancé Divine Lovett. She smiles against my lips before kissing me back passionately, not daring to pull away.
