I stare at Maeve as she snores softly with her head on my naked chest. I have my arm wrapped around her and can't stop snuggling her closer to me until she is practically laying on top of me. Her naked form met mine and God is it hard keeping my hands to myself.

I look over at the clock to see it is almost one in the afternoon. After the clock hit New Years, Maeve and I left the party and headed home for our own celebration.

Safe to say, it was a great night well morning should I say.

"Baby come on wake up" I gently shake her naked body but she just groans and turns over in her sleep.

"Baby" I call out to her again and stood up from the bed once she didn't respond. I walk over to her side of the bed and bend down, shaking her some more.

"Divine I'm tired" She mutters sleepily. I smile and kiss her nose gently before kissing all over her face causing her to giggle and complain that it was ticklish.

"Okay! Okay I'll get up" She finally say making me smile and pull away. Maeve sits up and yawns greatly before giving me an adorable glare. "What time is it?" she then asks.

"Hm one" I reply and stood up only for her eyes to drop down to my body before she blushed. "Want to take a bath?" I asked her making Maeve immediately nod and stand up from the bed.

She nakedly walked to the bathroom and I bit my lip as I stared at her ass before smacking it. She yelped and glared at me while I quickly look away and acted like nothing happened.

"I'm sick of you"

I laughed and kissed her cheek. "I love you too baby" I say and follow her into the bathroom. I start the water while Maeve grabs the apple cider vinegar. When we first reconnected, Maeve told me about the benefits of pouring some apple cider vinegar in your bath water and allowing yourself to soak in it. At first I was a little hesitant but now every time we have some time for a bath, we always put the apple cider vinegar in.

Especially after we have sex, if we have time.

"Babe do you want to have a spa day?" She asks me making me look over at her.

"A spa day?" She nods and smiles. "We can do face masks and just have some self care time"

I get in the warm water and Maeve gets in, sitting in between my legs. "I'll love that baby" I tell her and kiss her shoulder gently.

She grinned and laid her head back on my shoulder as I wrap my arms around her softly. Maeve managed to hook our bathroom's speaker with some music and I closed my eyes as I relaxed in the water.

Standing on the back porch of the house, I stare out as it pours rain once again. Luckily I'm on the porch and away from the cold rain. "Not going to lie, the sound of rain is just so peaceful" I say, sighing softly as I continued to stare at the wet  back yard.

"You can never go wrong with a good rainy day" Brandon replies next to me. I realized during this whole trip, I haven't been showing my best friend as much as attention I should. He has just been in this house figuring things out himself instead of me being there for him.

I promised him tomorrow that I will spend the whole day with him and show him around my hometown. To say he is excited would actually be an understatement.

"How are you best friend" He then asks me making me turn my glaze toward him. I shrug my shoulders as a smile makes it way onto my lips.

"I'm good, happy"

"Happy?"

I nod my head. "Maeve just makes me so happy B and I just ugh..I don't want to mess it up" I admit lowly, shaking my head in the process.

"You aren't going to" He replies making me shuffle a laugh as I look at him. "What makes you so sure?" I ask him.

"Because I will kick your ass if you do"

I laugh harder watching as he sends me a smile before laughing with me. "Kick me ass huh?"

"Sure the fuck will."

I shake my head once more and look away to look back at the rain. "I'm just scared for what's going to happen when we go back to New York. I don't want things to change"

"How do you know things will change?"

"Because well we are going to be in two different parts of New York for one but I also feel like maybe being apart from me will make her realize how wrong she is for loving me"

Brandon sits up in his seat and shakes his head at me. "She will not think that Divine. That girl loves you and I believe she has loved you since you both were kids. She is not going to leave you and she damn sure is not going to ever regret falling in love with you" He tells me.

I look at him with watery eyes and let out a small sob. I wasn't trying to make this moment sad but this actually really has been on my mind since me and Maeve got together and the countdown to our flights started.

"I love her so much B. I can't lose her again" I cry, wiping at my eyes.

"And you won't" I hear behind me causing me to turn around and see my beautiful girlfriend standing in front of the sliding door with wet salty tears in her eyes. "You won't ever lose me Divine. I'm here to stay" She tells me and comes toward me, sitting down in my lap.

"Mae—"

She shushes me and cups my face in her small cold hands. "I love you Divine, so much. I already lost you once and I damn sure won't let it happen again."

I kiss her palms gently before shaking my head. "I love you too my love but—"

"Ain't no but. Do you love me?"

I nod my head.

"Do you want to make this work in New York?"

"Yes" I reply.

She smiles and then pecks my lips gently. "Then we will make it work" She tells me making me grin against her lips. "because I love you too and I want us to work too"

"I love you so much" I tell her and bury my face in her neck as she wraps her arms around my neck loosely.

"I love you more"
