Sunny sits on the chair with a smile while filming.
"As you can see today, I am already dressed up. A plain white blouse and pants."
"We are going somewhere today. It will include my getting surgery. I've planned on doing this even before I stepped out of the entertainment industry because my eye vision was getting in my way."
"So, about a month ago, I decided to get a LASIK surgery. Yes, an eye surgery. I will get the surgery in a private hospital downtown Kota Kinabalu."
"My mom and Jasmine will be accompanying me to the hospital. They will also take care of me fully, especially during the recovery."
"I've seen some vlogs on YouTube that the recovery process of the LASIK surgery was the most challenging one. So, I am not sure if I will be able to withstand the painfulness of it after the surgery. Cross fingers."

Sunny grabbed her bag and her camera before walking out of her room.
In the living room, she met up with her mom and Jasmine, who were ready to leave the house. They left the house by car, driven by their assigned driver.
While in the car, as promised, Sunny explained more details about the surgery.
"When I was still performing, I always had problems with my eye vision. I wear prescription glasses or a contact lens that has powers."
"But both are quite troublesome for me. I can't wear glasses while performing, especially when I have to dance. But I have problems with contact lenses too. I can't wear them for too long. That's why when you see me having a concert, for the last session, I already wear my glasses."
"My eyes get tired very easily. Especially when meeting camera flashes and spotlights. Rehearsing under the hot sun. It affects my eyes."
"So, I delayed my LASIK surgery a few times because I was too busy and scared. But today is the day. Finally getting the surgery today."
"Her husband's reaction when she told him that she was getting LASIK was funny," Jasmine commented. Sunny laughed.
"So, I told my husband about my decision, and he was quiet for a few seconds. But then, the first thing he said was, tell mom to film you when the anaesthesia kicks in. It'll be so funny, he said. I nearly kicked him in the ass after that," Sunny said.
Christine and Jasmine laughed in response.
"He's never serious with me," Sunny shook her head lightly.
"But you love him still," Jasmine smirked.
Sunny just snorted in response.

After changing into a specific patient gown, Sunny was brought inside the surgery room.
She laid down on the leather bed, under all the machines. There were 4 people inside the surgery room, including the doctor. Nurses there are to assist the doctor.
Jasmine and Christine will be watching the surgery from outside this surgery room since there is a huge glass window that enables other people to watch the surgery.
Most of the surgery will be done by a robot. However, there will be parts that the doctor will take over, such as sterilization and more.
Before changing into the patient gown and entering the surgery room just now, Sunny, Christine and Jasmine were briefed once more about the surgery. The must and mustn't. Sunny was also given a prescription medicine to be taken from the pharmacy before the surgery.
It's easier to take before the surgery so that when the surgery is done, Sunny needs to meet the doctor for another checkup and go back straight home, where she needs a lot of rest.
Sunny was also given a bag of goodies. Snacks and chocolates that she liked the most. Also, some pairs of sunglasses to take care of her eyes after the surgery.
Inside the surgery room, Sunny was given numbing medication through injection and also, and the doctor cleaned Sunny's eyes with numbing gel. When the laser touched her eyes, she didn't feel anything. Just the smell of burning and red light.
The smell of burning does make her scared. It's like her life is at the end of the needle. But at the end of 20 minutes, both her eyes were already done.
She felt almost nothing and was happy about it.
The doctor made another checkup on Sunny's eyes before she was allowed to go home and rest as much as possible. Also, put on eyedrop every 2 hours. Every 2 hours. No exception in the middle of the night.
It's tiring. But it's a process of recovery. There's no other way to do it.

"Yes, my eyes are in pain right now. That's why I can't open my eyes right now," Sunny mumbled while Jasmine was filming her on her bed.
"I can't look at lights directly. The pain is like when you look into the light, and it's sharp. It's bright that it hurts. Your eyes start to water, and you can only take painkillers to bring the pain down."
"My eyes are also swelling. I can't rub my eyes too. So, it isn't very pleasant. Sometimes I wanna slap my eyes."
"It's a good thing there's this eye protection because if there isn't, I think the pain in my eye will be very bad. Like really, really bad."
"You guys have to watch this video until the very end. We have a little surprise for you guys," Jasmine said. Sunny laughed and laid back in bed.
"Yeah, whatever you say," Sunny replied before returning to her sleep.
