A slap was sent across his face when he stepped nearer to the Queen Mother.
Sunny and the former king gasped in shock.
"Honey," the former king approached his wife. Sunny remained seated on the couch.
"How could you do this to the woman who is your wife and the mother of your children!?" she shouted at him. Tengku Hassanal was stunned.
"This," the Queen Mother showed him the phone, and he looked pale immediately.
"How dare you have an affair behind her back!? After all her love to you!? I raised you to be a gentleman. What did I do wrong? Where was I wrong in educating my children!?" she shouted at him. Tengku Hassanal knelt on the floor while looking down.
"How could you do this to your wife, Hassanal?! How could you!"
At the exact moment, the mansion's door opened, revealing Tengku Hassanal's two brothers entering the villa. They were beyond shocked seeing the scene in front of them.
"Sunny had shown you nothing but love and sincerity. She left her career for you! She sacrificed herself because she loves you, and this is what you give back to her!?" The Queen Mother shouted while hitting his upper arm.
Sunny approached her mother-in-law and stopped her, "Mama... Please stop, mama." Sunny was in tears. The Queen Mother was in tears, too.
"What more do you want?! She has everything, and you find another woman to marry!? You had an affair behind her!? Do you know how heartbroken she is when she finds this out!?" The Queen Mother shouted at him.
"Astaghfirullahalazim," the former king said before looking at his son, who was now kneeling on the floor, looking down.
"What is this, Hassanal!?" he shouted at him.
"Mommy, Daddy, Sunny, I am so sorry. I didn't mean to do this all. I had no other choice," he said. His voice was as if he was crying, too.
"What do you mean you had no choice?" the Queen Mother asked him.
"She's pregnant."
Sunny dropped to the floor, feeling lifeless. She stared at his husband in shock.
"Sunny?"
"Sunny!"
"She's passing out! Call the ambulance now!"
All that Sunny could feel was her mother-in-law hugged her before everything went dark.
