Even when Sunny was still in her dreams, she could hear running footsteps and giggles. She pulled the sheets over her head as she knew what would happen.
"Mommy!" The children burst into her room with laughter and screams.
The three children then got up on the bed and started jumping up and down Sunny's bed. Sunny whined as she got disturbed by her children.
"Bunga! Alan! Aryan!"
They immediately stopped jumping and sat on the bed, looking at the door. Christine was standing at the door while putting her hands on her waist.
"Your mommy is still asleep! Can't you wait for another hour?" Christine asked.
"But mommy promised us to bring us to the morning market..." Bunga said softly.
"Yes. But the market hasn't even opened. It may be open, but not many vendors yet! Honey, it's winter season, and everyone is working slowly and carefully now," Christine explained.
"But..."
"No buts! Come on. Get out. You all better shower before your mommy wakes up so you can leave earlier. Go!" Christine said before the children rushed out of the room.
Sunny pulled down her blanket and looked at the door. She grinned at her mom.
"Thanks, mama," she said.
Christine winked, "You rest first."
Sunny nodded as she covered her face with the blanket again.
She slept for another 30 minutes before getting up properly and washing up. After that, she wore clean clothes and did her morning facial routine.
Once again, Sunny hears the children running around the house, laughing.
"Kids!" Christine shouted. Sunny laughed in response.
Aryan, Alan, and Bunga are the ones who are so active. Especially the twins since they are the same age. And Adrian's three kids, too. So, it isn't quiet when everyone comes.
"God! It feels like the house will collapse any second," Sunny heard Christine commented from the hallway. Sunny laugh. She knows Christine is the one who loves the kids the most. The ones who spoil the kids the most.
"Mommy!" The kids came to the door.
"Give me 30 more minutes! I'll be done, and we'll leave," Sunny said to them.
"30 minutes! Promise!" Aryan said.
"I promise. Now get out of my bedroom and go to the living room. And don't stress your grandma!" Sunny said as the kids ran out of the room again.
