"How long have you been feeling sick?"

"Migraine since Monday at least. It's been three days straight. I can't get enough sleep even," Sunny said while the doctor was checking her heart rate.

"What about your throat pain?" The doctor asked.

"It started on Friday evening. After dinner, my throat felt really pain. My mother-in-law gave me honey and lemon, but it didn't work at all. Until today," Sunny explained.

"I can say that you have a strep throat. But regarding the migraine and diarrhoea, along with some nausea, I am going to find the answer. I'll order a blood test for you. Will that be alright with you?" The doctor asked while taking off her rubber gloves.

Sunny nodded, "Yes."

"Alright. Just stay here while I get the instruments to draw your blood for the lab," the doctor said.

Sunny just remained lying on the bed while waiting for the doctor. She has been feeling not well for almost a week. At first, she chugged on water and honey lemon and opted for herbs.

But she couldn't stand her pain already and asked to be sent to a private hospital for an emergency checkup. Lucky for her, her personal doctor had time to check on Sunny herself.

While waiting for the doctor, Sunny's personal assistant came into the room.

"Your Majesty is here," she told Sunny.

Sunny nodded, "Let him come to me if he wants to. Does he have a mask on? Give him a mask first. I'm scared I have a bad sickness that can spread."

"Yes, Your Majesty," her personal assistant said before leaving.

A few moments later, a knock was heard from the door, and Tengku Hassanal walked into the room.

"Hey," Tengku Hassanal said, walking towards Sunny.

"Hi," Sunny replied softly.

"What's the diagnosis?" Tengku Hassanal asked, standing next to Sunny.

"I do have strep throat. But the doctor is taking my blood to find answers about the other symptoms," Sunny said. She couldn't speak louder because of the pain in her throat.

"I told you to go to see a doctor the moment you have strep throat," Tengku Hassanal said.

"It was better after the first honey lemon," Sunny said.

"You're just making yourself feel better and keeping yourself from seeing the doctor," Tengku Hassanal chuckled as he sat on a stool beside the bed. Sunny grinned.

"You get well, okay. You and baby get well. You really need a break from all the palace's events. Like, for real. Take a break. You need it a lot," Tengku Hassanal said to Sunny.

"I don't need a break. I'm fine. It's just my bad luck this time getting sick," Sunny said.

"Nope, I called it. You're not gonna do any palace event or any places. You're definitely resting for 2 weeks. Just eat whatever you want. Just focus on yourself," he told her.

"I'm gonna be so boring!" Sunny said.

"No. Do some shopping online. We can have a messenger come to our house for you. You and our baby need a break. Like, for real. You two need to rest," Tengku Hassanal said.

"But you're going to England the day after tomorrow..." Sunny muttered.

"I'm cancelling the trip," he said.

"No!" Sunny exclaimed.

"I've cancelled it," Tengku Hassanal told her.

"Why?" Sunny asked.

"You're not going. I'm not going either. It's our trip. I can't just go alone," Tengku Hassanal said.

Sunny sighed sadly and looked at Tengku Hassanal.

"I'm not going. I'm gonna stay right here with you. Anything else can wait," he said.

"Fine. But I doubt that you're allowed to stay here with me. I think I have a contagious disease," said Sunny.

"Well, we don't know it yet."

Sunny just smiled, hoping for the best for her and her baby especially.

"Your Majesty has contracted a virus that is quite common in pregnant women. However, it is contagious, and it can spread. So, I really advise you to clean your house and clean everything else. I would also like you and your whole family to take a blood test or a swab to make sure that your close ones did not contract the virus that Her Majesty is having."

"Will she be alright, though?" Tengku Hassanal asked with concern.

"She will be alright. We will try our best. But for now, we're keeping her in isolation but also letting her be as comfortable as she can."

"Being pregnant and sick is not an easy thing to go through. She's like bringing COVID-19. However, we limit the number of visitors. High-risk people aren't allowed to visit her. Your children, your parents or someone who has even high blood pressure."

"Once contracted with this virus, it's quite hard to get well. Especially pregnant women like her. But it's good that she got here on time, and we're going to start treating her."

"You can come visit her. However, with masks and hand sanitising. And just get sanitized before you leave her room. Just like when we hit the pandemic. We also don't want any other virus or bacteria coming from outside, brought here and hit her again."

"Alright, I understand that doctor," Tengku Hassanal nodded.

"Great. Don't worry, and we'll take really good care of your wife and baby. For now, we're in the early stages. We'll keep it that way. Control it, and slowly, she'll heal."

"Okay. Thank you so much, doctor," Tengku Hassanal smiled.

"You're very welcome," the doctor nodded before walking away.

Tengku Hassanal sighed softly while watching Sunny through the glasswindow, getting needles into her arms. The nurses were also making sure Sunny was comfortable with the bed.

They made sure all her things were within hand reach.

"Your Highness," Tengku Hassanal's assistant approached him. He turned his head towards his assistant.

"Queen mother is asking about Her Majesty's wellbeing," he said.

"I'll call her in a moment," said Tengku Hassanal.

"Yes, Your Highness."
