After two weeks in California, the family returned to Sabah. Whatever happened to the company was finally settled just last night. The Anti-Corruption Commission left the company off with a strict warning and also a weekly check with the accounting unit.

When Sunny returned home to Sabah, she was already tired, and when she saw what had happened to their house since it had been raided, she became even more tired.

"Never mind the mess. I'll call someone to clean things up tomorrow morning," Adrian said, seeing how stressed Sunny was when she saw the dirty floors and unorganized furniture. This is how it is when a house is confiscated.

The staff will just take out things, bring them to their office to check for value, and then, if they don't need them, they just put them in the house, not putting them back where they belong.

They even wear shoes inside the house.

"How pathetic," Sunny mumbled as she led the twins to the bedroom.

Adrian just sighed.

For the past two weeks, it has been rough for their family. Sunny, Jasmine, and Valerie, together with their children in the US, couldn't help even a little.

Adrian and Cavin were in and out of the police station and government office with boxes and boxes of official documents. The company was also busy preparing official documents and other things.

"Mummy," Bunga said when she sat on the bed.

"Yes?" Sunny asked, putting her backpack down on the floor.

"I miss daddy. When can I meet Daddy?" Bunga asked, holding Sunny's arm.

Sunny sighed, "Not right now, honey. We have to do a lot of things first. But I'll try to call your dad to come pick you up soon, okay?"

"Okay," Bunga nodded.

"Alright, get up from the bed first. You two take out your clothes from the closet. Change your clothes. Mummy wants to take off this bed sheet first," Sunny said, pulling the bedsheet off.

The twins went to the drawer and took out their clothes. They are already capable of wearing their clothes by themselves, so Sunny doesn't need to help them anymore. Sunny changed their bedsheets and placed the dirty sheets outside her room.

"You two take a nap. Mummy wants to shower first, okay?" Sunny said, carrying Bunga onto the bed and then Alan.

"Okay," they answered.

"When you guys wake up, we'll go outside to eat," Sunny said, pulling the blanket to cover them.

"Okay," they replied.

"Alright. Sleep. Mummy wants to shower," Sunny said, patting them before walking into the shower.

Before showering, Sunny texted Tengku Hassanal to ask if he had any time to pick up the twins.

Hassanal - Yeah, sure. I'll pick them up tonight. Can?

SUNNY - You're here?

Hassanal - I came to declare some things a few days ago. Adrian requested for me to come to declare some things since I was witness for a few assets you guys own now.

SUNNY - Oh my God. I am so sorry you went through that.

Hassanal - Not a problem, Sun. But anyways, I will pick the twins tonight. I'll bring them back Pahang for maybe three or four days. Do you need time? I know how it is for you guys right now back at home.

SUNNY - Yeah, can you be with the twins until I could make this home, a home first?

Hassanal - Sure, I can do that. Just text me if things at home are done already.

SUNNY - Alright. Thanks.

Hassanal - You're welcome.

The next morning, Sunny woke up to the sound of lorries and people working inside and outside the house. When she peeked through the balcony, she saw that workers were making good the backyard, cutting the grass, landscaping, and other things.

She cleaned up in her bathroom and then came out of her room. She was greeted by her house helpers who were carrying a bucket of water and pouring it on their marble floors.

"Good morning, Sunny!" they greeted.

"Good morning," Sunny smiled.

"Watch out," they said before pouring water on the floor.

Since the floor was so dirty, with a lot of debris and dirty footsteps, they needed to scrub it off really well, and they needed professionals to do it. But since the house is very big, it takes time to clean. So, the house helpers will clean with water and a broom first.

"There's breakfast downstairs. Adrian ordered catering for us all," Siti told Sunny.

"Alright," Sunny nodded.

"We're going to clean your room also. Okay?" Siti asked.

"Yeah, just take out anything, clean anything. Everything," Sunny said to them.

"Alright. Consider it done," they said, grinning.

Sunny smiled and nodded, "Okay."

She walked down the stairs and saw people vacuuming, wiping, everything to clean the house. Even mopping the walls. Steaming the floors and other things.

"Sunny," she heard Cavin's voice.

"Hey," Sunny replied, still walking towards the dining room, Cavin following her.

"You good? Still jet-lagged?" Cavin asked.

"A little. Otherwise I'm fine," Sunny said, nodding.

"Alright. I have to tell you something," he told her, entering the dining room.

"What's up?" Sunny asked.

"Grandpa and grandma aren't feeling so well," he said.

Sunny turned to him and nodded, "How bad?"

"Grandma can't stand anymore. Grandpa's still good. But they're both losing memories," Cavin said. Sunny exhaled and nodded. Well, considering their age, she's not so surprise.

"So, when are we going back there?" Sunny asked.

"The plan is this evening," Cavin said.

She nodded, "As long as I'm not driving."

"We're using the helicopter," Cavin told him.

"Are you serious?" Sunny looked at Cavin.

"Yeah," he nodded.

"Okay..."
