"Good morning," Sunny smiled warmly as soon as she opened the car door.
Sunny was welcomed by a group of students and the university's board directors. Her approachable demeanour immediately put everyone at ease.
"Thank you all for being here today," she said, her voice carrying the same charm that captivated millions back when she was a K-Pop idol but even carried until the present time. Being a loved person by everyone around her.
The students present today are a group from the Student Representative Council (SRC). They had volunteered to assist with the renovation project.
"This university means a lot to me, and I'm so grateful for your support in making it a better place for everyone. I know it's your semester break and I'm even much more proud and happy that the students themselves came to help with the renovations," Sunny said.
The SRC president, a tall and enthusiastic young man, stepped forward. "Thank you, ma'am, for everything you're doing for us. It's an honour to have you here."
Sunny grinned and looked around at the group, "Let's get started, shall we?"
The first order of business was a tour of the areas under renovation. The SRC members led Sunny through the campus, pointing out the progress that had already been made thanks to her generous donation. Once dim and stuffy, the lecture halls were brightly lit with new air-conditioning units and modern furniture. The library had been transformed into a vibrant learning hub with updated technology and cosy reading corners.
Sunny took mental notes of areas that still needed attention as they walked. The science labs were outdated, and the sports facilities required a complete overhaul. She discussed these observations with the project manager who accompanied them, making it clear that no detail was too small to address.
"I want this to be a place where students feel proud to study," Sunny said. "Education is the foundation of everything, and these students deserve the best."

Despite her status, Sunny was determined to get her hands dirty. Dressed in casual jeans and a university-branded T-shirt, she joined the SRC members in painting one of the common rooms. The once drab walls were transformed with a fresh coat of pastel blue, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
"Miss Sunny, have you ever painted a wall before?" one of the students, Lina, asked with a laugh as she handed over a roller.
"Not often," Sunny admitted with a grin, "but there's a first time for everything."
She determinedly approached the wall, her strokes tentative but growing more confident with each pass. The students couldn't help but be impressed by her willingness to participate.
As they worked, the atmosphere grew lively. Conversations flowed easily, and laughter echoed through the room. Sunny listened intently as the students shared their experiences, dreams, and challenges. She found their stories inspiring and reminded herself why she had chosen to support this university.

After work hours, the group took a break in the newly renovated cafeteria. Tables were laden with snacks and drinks, and everyone gathered to recharge. Sunny took this opportunity to address the students.
"I want you all to know how much I admire your dedication to this university," she said. "Your passion and hard work are what make this place special. I'm here to support you, but it's your spirit that will truly drive change."
Her words resonated deeply, and the SRC president asked a question that had been on everyone's mind. "Sunny, what inspired you to help us?"
Sunny's expression softened. "Back when I came here for the first time during the Kembara Borneo with my His Royal Highness, I saw so much potential. I know how important it is to have a strong support system and a place where you feel valued. I wanted to give back in a way that could make a lasting impact."
The students nodded, their admiration for her growing. Lina said, "You're not just helping the university; you're inspiring all of us to aim higher."
Sunny smiled. "That's exactly what I hope to do."
The rest of the day was a flurry of activity. Sunny and the students tackled various tasks, from assembling new furniture to planting flowers in the campus garden. The once-neglected spaces were gradually coming to life, and everyone took pride in the transformation.
At one point, Sunny noticed a young student struggling to fix a desk. She knelt beside him and offered assistance. "Let's do this together," she said, her encouragement giving him the confidence to keep trying. Moments like these highlighted her genuine care and humility.
As the sun set, the group gathered to admire their work. The common room was unrecognizable, the gardens bloomed with colour, and the campus felt rejuvenated. Sunny took a moment to capture the scene on her phone, knowing it was a memory she'd treasure.

Before leaving, Sunny addressed the SRC members once more. "Today has been incredible. Thank you for welcoming me and working hard to realise this vision. I'll keep a close eye on your progress and always be just a call away if you need anything."
Amir stepped forward with a small gift—a framed photo of the group taken earlier in the day. "This is for you, Sunny. A reminder of how much you've done for us."
Sunny accepted the gift with a grateful smile. "Thank you. This means the world to me."
As she drove away, the students stood waving, their hearts full of gratitude and inspiration. Sunny's visit had been more than just a philanthropic gesture; it had been a testament to the power of kindness, determination, and community. The university's transformation was only the beginning, and everyone involved felt hopeful.
Sunny, too, left with a sense of fulfilment. She had achieved many things in her life, but moments like these reminded her of what truly mattered. Helping others, lifting them up, and creating opportunities were the legacies she wanted to leave behind.
