GAUCHE
IN ALL HONESTY, Kageyama was a little nervous. Out of all the things he had planned out, it was something he had no experience in. His senior, Sugawara, had briefed him before that dates should tend to be places where one is familiar with so that they could impress their significant other with knowledge— simply put, Kageyama should have chosen a spot where he could boast his skills to further impress Mina. Yet, he didn't. Once again, he was swayed by his mother's suggestion to choose a place that was unfamiliar albeit romantic. With his lack of knowledge in courting and women, he couldn't find it in himself to disagree and allowed himself to be lent a hand by someone who had better experience than he would have. And who better than his own mother, an avid fan of his love life.
Though if he knew they would be walking for ten minutes on a gravelly path on a remote area, he definitely would have chosen something less exhausting for Mina. There's a light breeze in the air that accompanies the mildly frosty air, causing for a quiet sneeze to escape the girl's lips. Kageyama turns to her and sees her rubbing her flushed cheeks with the cuff of her sweater, smiling at the boy once she notices that his gaze was upon her. Guilt settles into the pit of his stomach. He brought her all the way here, near the outskirts of Sendai and it wouldn't sit well with him if she caught a cold from his choice of location. It was stupid of him to keep the details to himself; maybe then Mina could have prepared herself better.
"Hey, come here," Kageyama tugs the girl closer to him and spreads his arms out. "Do this."
Confused, Mina nods and does the same. The raven haired male slips the jacket from one arm to another until the brunette's engulfed in the warmth of his jacket. His brows were furrowed, a hint of seriousness in those eyes of his when he zips up the jacket to make sure that she's comfortable and warm in his clothing. Mina's surprised, of course as she wasn't expecting the sweet gesture but it makes her smile and even let out throaty chuckles. His sweet act made her cheeks flush, the warmth overtaking the cold sensation.
"Is that okay?" Kageyama questions, eyes gazing upon the girl's crescent shaped ones. Mina only grins and nods as she flaps the loose sleeves of his jacket.
