"EOMMA."

There was something soothing about the whirring noises that her laptop made, even though it spoke great volumes about how old the thing is. Mina's eyes flitted towards her fingers for a short moment before turning to the screen where she could see her mother busily moving across the kitchen. It's gotta be Bibimbap, Mina guesses from the way the woman pulls out containers of pre-made sides from the fridge, the stainless steel bowl and the steaming rice in it— gosh, now she's hungry again.

"Yes?"

"Just a bite, please."

Mrs. Lee pauses, turning to the camera with an amused expression. She carries the containers to the dinner table before saying, "Have mercy on your mother. I've only been eating energy bars at the hospital, so I'm definitely eating this all alone. So, any news going on right now or— ah! What happened to Minji? Is she still there?"

Truth be told, Mina had a vague idea of what's been happening to her sister. Minji lived quite the impulsive lifestyle which meant people merely got a fleeting glimpse of her whereabouts. She had the tendencies to worry the folks around her, only for them to find out what she's been up to through social media. At the moment, Mina guesses that her twin was probably back on the other side of the world, finishing off her studies.

It did bug her a little bit, knowing Minji departed without saying anything but what could she really do—that's how she's always been.
