"YOU LOOK GREAT, LET'S DO ONE MORE!"
Flashing lights and the camera's shutter sounds fill up the classroom. It's the day of the photoshoot for the Guitar Club, which meant every single member was dressed in their uniforms and had their makeups done—even the male members, who so reluctantly agreed to do so. Fujie had done a deal with the Photography Club's president in exchange for this photoshoot, which was the first step to the club's promotion and to the senior's retirement plans.
Despite everyone's limited experience in being in front of the camera, they all did well under the guidance of the photographer, Yuki Sugita, a second-year. He was quite encouraging and positive which alleviated a lot of the pressures and anxiousness; though, he was especially supportive when it came to Bunta and Hibino, the nervous pair who had been struggling with how stiff and stoic they were. All it took was a few jokes, positive encouragement and loud cheers resounding throughout the room for them to loosen up and look natural.
"Ooh, Goichi's a little bit of a natural at this," Humming, Fujie stares from behind the photographer. "Though, he doesn't really look like he fits the concept of our photoshoot..."
Maiko lets out a little laugh that also sounded like a lighthearted scoff. "Refreshing High-school Youth? Even with our uniform, he looks like he's a college football quarterback. High-school, my ass."
"Don't be so mean about it," Fujie cracks a smile. "This is great! I'm sure the photos will turn out well— uh, too well that I'm actually worried that there might be too many people who will apply for this club again for the wrong reasons. Remember when Lee-san went viral and we had to deal with so many people? Oh! I'm getting a migraine just thinking about it."
Mina pops up from behind them and sheepishly whispers, "Sorry."
"Why are you sorry? If anything, our president was loving the attention that this club hasn't received in a long time," Maiko jerks a thumb to Fujie with a shrug. "She's just saying that but in reality, nobody had a bigger smile than her when we did the auditions."
