Everyone thinks that the raven haired boy was naturally gifted at being testy; that it was ingrained in his nature to constantly scowl or flare up with the littlest reasons possible. An overbearing perfectionist that leaves no room for even the most obscure mistakes— that's what people believed him to be. Possibly from how evident the expressions are which are painted on his visage.
But if someone were to see the expression he currently held at the moment, could they still say the same thing?
Curved creases stretched across his forehead were no longer seen, no furrowed brows that sharpened his scrutinizing gaze or anything that warded off students from approaching him— his features were neutral, pitch black orbs boring down to her mahogany ones. The room was still, shrouded in darkness apart from the light that peered in from the interstice of the door's crack.
Mina could almost hear it; his heartbeat possibly if not for her's that pounded vehemently against her ribcage. She couldn't think straight, the way he was staring so intently as if he was searching for something within the swirls in her orbs— no, heat was slowly crawling from her neck upwards to cheeks and to her ears. The girl was burning up by the second, evidently embarrassed and maybe a fraction of shyness from the way he just looked at her.
"...Kageyama-kun," Her voice came out in a hoarse whisper, timid when she reluctantly touched his forearm. That seemed to have brought the raven haired male back to reality. "Please... please get off."
