Steve and Robin were opening boxes at Family Video while Eddie sat on the counter and talked about D&D. Steve and Robin just decided to listen because stopping him would be a greater consequence than just listening to his rambling. Robin grabbed a box and opened it on the counter next to Eddie. "Aristocats and Nightmare on Elm Street 3. I wonder which one will get more sales." She said pushing the box over to the side for them to put away later. Steve stood up and handed Eddie a copy of Nightmare on Elm Street 3.
"We can take that home and add it to our movie collection. It's definitely not a federal crime," He smiled and went back to unpacking the boxes. "...only petty theft."
"Wait, say that one more time." Eddie stopped Steve.
"It's petty theft?"
"No, federal." Eddie leaned forward and looked at Robin.
"Federal?" Steve said confused.
"It's pronounced 'fed-er-rull.'" Eddie smiled.
"Yeah, fedrull." Steve said again.
"You're saying it wrong." Eddie played with the movie in his hands.
"I am not. Next you're gonna tell me it's lie-ber-ary And not liberry." Steve went back to his boxes as Eddie shot Robin a look.
"I don't mention it." Robin shrugged. Eddie looked at the movie in his hands.
"Are you sure you're going to watch this? It's gonna be scary?" Eddie teased.
"Yeah! I love those movies. Robin, you wanna join?" Steve opened the last box. "We can invite Dustin and the rest of the kids too if you want." He looked up at Eddie.
"That's fine with me." Eddie swung his legs back and forth on the counter.

"No, push the couch against the wall. We're putting down blankets in front of it so we can all sit on the floor." Steve directed Eddie who was pulling the couch towards him.
"Ill push you against the wall." Eddie smiled and pushed the couch against the wall.
"Try me," Steve smiled. "I told them to wear pajamas so we have to get ours on." Steve grabbed a blanket off the pile and started laying them in front of the tv. Eddie grabbed one and helped.
"I don't really have any pajamas. I have sweatpants and t-shirts." Eddie followed Steve up the stairs to get into pajamas. "Wait- did you say you wanted me to try you earlier?" Eddie had just realized what Steve had said. "Cause I can- I mean if you want me to-" Eddie walked over to Steve who was looking through the closet. He handed Eddie a pair of pajama pants and a matching shirt. It had starwars characters all over it. "You're kidding,"
"I'm not." Steve took out another pair that were also starwars themed but instead of pants it was shorts. He waited until Eddie's guard was down and pushed him against the wall, pinning him. "I told you to try it and you didn't." Steve leaned in and kissed Eddie's neck.
"Because I didn't hear you!" Eddie squeaked. He put his hand on the back of Steve's head. "You're unbearable." He smiled at Steve's soft touch on his neck. Steve put his hand on Eddie's lower back to hold him closer.
"Dingus and Dingus' boyfriend. We're here!" Robin yelled up the stairs. Eddie wiggled out of Steve's arms and started to take off his clothes.
"You want to do that while they're here?" Steve pointed towards the door. Eddie put on the starwars pajamas and frowned at Steve.
"After all the trauma we've put Dustin through?" Steve started to put on his pajamas. He had his shirt in his hands as they ran down stairs to greet the guests. Eddie went over and claimed a seat on the blanket pile.
"Matching pajamas?" Robin opened her mouth and smiled.
"No, Eddie has Darth Maul and I have Skywalker. Completely different." Steve looked around to only see Robin and Dustin. "Nobody else?" Robin shook her head and went and sat over by Eddie. Dustin sat down next to Robin. "How can you judge my pajama choice when you're wearing pink polka dots and Dustin is wearing robots? You have no opinion," Steve sat on the other side of Eddie as the movie started.
About a half hour into the movie Eddie sat up and pulled a blanket over him and Steve. Robin watched out of the corner of her eye. She leaned over and poked Dustin. "Do you see that?" Dustin looked over confused.
"What?"
"There's a shit ton of sexual tension there." Robin joked. Eddie turned his head and gave a confused look. Dustin continued to gag. Steve was staring at the tv screen. He watched the characters in the movie talk like Normal teenagers before Freddy had to come in and ruin everything. Steve couldn't help but think that's what life was like before everything happened with the upside down. Steve touched Eddie's hand under the blanket and felt his cold rings against his fingers. Eddie rubbed Steve's hand with his thumb.
"Are you okay?" Eddie whispered in Steve's ear. Steve nodded and let the train of thought leave his head. He looked at Eddie and smiled to reassure him everything was alright.
"Do you want to get high then finish the movie?" Steve whispered over at Eddie. Eddie smiled and nodded. They stood up and walked over to the back door. "We'll be right back." He whispered over at Robin. Robin nudged Dustin on the shoulder.
"Told ya." Dustin cringed. Eddie sat down on the back porch and grabbed a planter that Steve had left outside. The plant inside had been dead since Steve's mom left so Eddie didn't have to worry about anyone watering it. He pulled a plastic bag with three joints in it out of the dirt.
"Do you have joints hidden all over the place in my house?" Steve took one out of the bag and put it in his mouth, lighting it.
"For the most part." Eddie smiled and leaned in for a kiss. Steve kissed him and exhaled the smoke into Eddie's mouth. Eddie blew the smoke back out through his nostrils. "I love doing that." He took the joint from Steve.
Three joints later, they snuck back inside and sat down where they were previously. Not long after someone got killed in the movie and Steve and Eddie laughed way too hard at the scene. Robin and Dustin turn to look at them like they're crazy. Once the movie ends Steve and Eddie continue to laugh about the stupid scenes. "They need an ambulance. Weewooo!" Steve laughed after the movie ended. Eddie laughed so hard he was wheezing.
"Do you guys want to play a game?" Robin sat forward and smiled.
"Woah! You want me to play a game at this hour?" Steve grabbed Eddie's wrist and looked at his watch.
"Yes. It's six o'clock." Robin looked over to Dustin and rolled her eyes.
"Yeah I'm down." Eddie leaned back and tried not to laugh.
"Okay. We're gonna go swimming." Robin stood up.
"What? In the murder pool?" Steve leaned forward and whispered extremely loud to Robin, "Barb died in there."
"So? That was years ago." Robin went over to the pool and motioned for Dustin to follow.
