Mines(a Sirius Black fan fiction)

Who saw?

the shadow quickly disappeared as all five went rushing out the door to see who it was. Sirius went to the main door to find it still locked, James looked around trying to see if this shadow left any clue. While those two were looking Peter went with out for food and to make things look normal. Quickly Grace grabbed Remus and took him back into the room before locking it.
"I need a favor Rem. You can't tell James or anyone that i'm asking this okay. If he found out he would kill me literally. Keep him busy i need some time alone."
" While you know i'll do anything you ask green may i ask why you need him busy? Did you finally tell sirius?" Remus asked with a wandering look.
"Yes i did. We plan on meeting later at 4 and i need to make sure my brother is busy." She spoke quietly feeling hurt that she has to lie and has to ask someone to lie for her.
"i'll cover for you but he'll figure it out soon enough" and with that remus walked out and joined the other boys in looking for clues.

For those few brief seconds she was alone she could swear there was something else; a shadow or something. She could feel something there but had no idea what it was. She wouldn't dare tell the boys about her feeling otherwise they would go straight to Madame Pomfrey and get her checked out. She quickly by passed it and walked out shaking the feeling. The boys were getting ready to leave the shack when it happened. The door burst open. But to their demise no one was there. The door opened by itself. Spooked the group left without saying another word.

The five of them were quick to head to dinner to make it seem normal and that everything was fine. But Grace couldn't help but noticing how wrong this felt. Instead of going to dinner with the lot of them she went back down to the dungeons. She knew that regulus would always be there for her and right now she needed her best friend not her lovers little brother. Looking around she couldn't find him, while it is dinner time regulus usually comes back early. That's when she heard it. the quiet sobs followed by a hushing noise. The girl walked to the curtain where the sound was coming from silently she pulled out her wand and with one swipe opened the blind. There she saw Regulus, Adrian and Sarah. the couple trying to console the broken boy.
"What happened reggie" grace said as she started to tear up seeing her best friend like this. Through the sniffles a quiet sound could be heard. "Lestrange" the younger boy said to the three.
Looking at the time adrian nudged for the four of them to move as dinner was almost done and the slytherin common room would soon be crawling with people.  adrian and sarah lifted regulus up together and went to the slytherin prefect room. they would be safe her as it was graces room who chose not to move in and be alone. the pairing sat down and told the boy to relax that he would be safe here.
The youngest Black had always been strong. On the few times Grace has seen him cry she cried with him. But this time was different. She knew she had to be strong for the both of them. They didn't ask for this life but it was given to them. It would either make them or break them.
The choice was up to them.
Looking at the boy you could see he had been crying for a few hours. His eyes red and swollen seemed so out of place on him. His neatly done hair mangled and a mess. The last time he had been this bad was when James broke up with him. How grace wanted to hit her brother for that. Poor reggie who didn't deserve this. But grace knew one thing.
Hell would rain on Lestrange within the coming days and no one could stop her.
