SEPTEMBER 1ST 1971

"Kids come down or we'll miss the train for Hogwarts". Within seconds you could hear the patter of two footsteps. "Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hoggy Warty Hogwarts,

Teach us something please,

Whether we be old and bald,

Or young with scabby knees,

Our heads could do with filling,

With some interesting stuff,

For now they're bare and full of air,

Dead flies and bits of fluff,

So teach us things worth knowing,

Bring back what we've forgot,

Just do your best, we'll do the rest,

And learn until our brains all rot" .

The elder couple watched their kids as they continued to sing in awe and in desperation for them to shut up. As they finished the song Fleamont was standing next to the fireplace ready to use floo powder and leave for platform 9 and ¾. "Alright now remember we will love you no matter what house you get put into. Just be yourself and remember to never tickle a sleeping dragon" Euphemia said whilst holding in a chuckle towards the end of that sentence. The rest of the potters looked unamused. And they left for Hogwarts or as James likes to call it HoggyWarts. As the pair of twins were about to board the train the elder couple pulled them in and hugged them tight.

''Mom,dad cant-breathe" grace said as the couple reluctantly let go." We promise to write at least once a month, don't worry mom we won't get into too much trouble" the elder of the pairing said as they boarded the train. With one last wave and an air kiss the two walked into the train holding arms with James leading looking for an empty seat for the two.

"James every where is full lets just go into this cabin.'' Grace said, spotting only three boys in it: one with honey-like hair but having scars across his face, the second one having light blondish hairs. The last boy was quite breathtaking in Grace's opinion. With grey stormy eyes and semi long black curly hair. The twins looked at each other before James knocked and asked if they could sit here, the three boys looked at the twins and sure. One by one they introduced themselves. "Im Remus Lupin" the boy with scars among his face siad,"Peter Pettigrew" said the blonde one,"Sirius Black" said the attractive one. "Im James Potter and this is my sister Grace Potter". Within a few seconds the 5 of them had bonded and became acquaintances. James asked what house they'd want to be sorted into: remus and grace not really caring what house they were in, James and Sirius wanting to be in gryffindor which shocked all of them since Sirius came from the most Noble and Ancient house of Black, a house full of slytherins Peter wanting to be in any house but slytherin.

As they talked they slowly lost track of time, soon they arrived at hogwarts bushing to change into their robes. Grace leaving the cabin so the boys could change and going into the one across from theirs to see a red haired girl with beautiful green eyes."Hey do you mind if i change in here my brother and and his friends are changing in the cabin across this one" she spoke to the girl."sure i was abou to do the same, Im lily, Lily Evans", "Grace Potter". And like that the two became friends. After Grace had finished changing she didn't bother to go back to her brother, she stayed with Lily and they talked. Lily told Grace how she was a muggleborn and was scared to come to Hogwarts, to help her worries Grace said she'd help her around considering her family was pure-blooded. As they were heading into Hogwarts for the first time Grace went back to James and Lily went to go look for her next friend, Severus Snape.

As grace walked in she was taken back by how beautiful everything looked. As they walked in they spotted A tall, stern-looking witch with black hair pulled in a bun."Welcome to Hogwarts,' said Professor McGonagall. 'The start-of-term banquet will begin shortly, but before you take your seats in the Great Hall, you will be sorted into your houses. The Sorting is a very important ceremony because, while you are here, your house will be something like your family within Hogwarts. You will have classes with the rest of your house, sleep in your house dormitory and spend free time in your house common room.

'The four houses are called Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Each house has its own noble history and each has produced outstanding witches and wizards. While you are at Hogwarts, your triumphs will earn your house points, while any rule-breaking will lose house points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the House Cup, a great honour. I hope each of you will be a credit to whichever house becomes yours.

''The Sorting Ceremony will take place in a few minutes in front of the rest of the school. I suggest you all smarted yourselves up as much as you can while you are waiting.Please wait quietly.'' within a few seconds she had arrived back to announce that the sorting ceremony would begin. As the doors to the great hall opened the kids were astounded by the Dining hall. 

"When I call your name, you will put on the hat and sit on the stool to be sorted" Professor McGonagall said. she began calling names,

"Sirius Black" within a few seconds of being on his head the Hat bellowed gryffindor, people looked shocked considering he was a Black and they all went into Slytherin. The gryffindor table jumped in an uproar. The next name Grace paid attention to was Lily Evans, and just like Sirius it placed her in gryffindor again the table went up in a roar. Later Remus got called and just like the past two he was a gryffindor same with peter. Finally it came to the twins' grace to join first due to her first name. As she sat on the stool the hat pondered as to where to put her.''hmmm heart like a hufflepuff, intelligence like a ravenclaw, cunning like a slytherin, and brave like a gryffindor'' the hat said in her mind 'where would you like to be placed dear'.''honestly i really don't care, i guess put me where you think id be my best.'' The hat happy with her response then bellowed "slytherin".

Grace was a bit shocked but hopped off the stool and passed her brother and headed to the table decorated in emerald green and silver. She watched as James went up and the hat barely touched his head before it said gryffindor. Grace was a bit shocked that her and her brother were separated but she didn't mind it much. Later on as the headmaster was giving his speech Grace had made some new friends, Sarah Greengrass;a pureblood and Adrian Thomas:a muggleborn.

Soon they went to their dormitories and the girls were happy to find out they were together along with a: Daisy Abbot: a halfblood, Michelle Netty;a muggleborn and finally Lisa Morrow, a next muggleborn. Due to anticipations the girls didn't sleep but instead they all became close friends.
