Grabbing the first aid kit Grace quickly started to take care of Regulus. She had sent Sarah and Adrian to get the boys. She knew Reggie wanted Sirius there but wouldn't say it and grace knew she needed something big for lestrange. something that could get her expelled but she didn't care when it came to him.
as grace treated the boy she saw an old bruise. not fresh like the other ones he's gotten but new none the less.
"is she hurting you reggie again" the girl asked the younger boy while trying to heal the bruise left by his mother.
"when isn't she? if it's not psychically it's mentally. Value blood. Don't be friends with half blood or muggleborns. Don't talk to blood traitors. Don't turn out like sirius" the younger boy spoke as quiet as if his mother would overhear.
Before she could say anything Regulus was brought into a tight hug. Startled he didn't know what to do with this sudden found affection. Slowly he gave in and hugged his brother back while slowly breaking down in his arms and repeating he's sorry to him.

"you're not going back to her i'll take you in. or the potters will i'm sure they won't mind. but i won't let you go. she won't have you. i'll protect you. i'll adopt you if i have to reggie but i promise to protect you. i thought you were her golden child that she would never hurt you. that you were always protected just because you got into slytherin. i'm so sorry reggie for not being there."
the reunion of the two brothers made everyone tear up. you could see james wiping his glossy eyes while peter had tears streaming down his face. Remus and grace were holding each other and wiping the others tears away. when the brothers broke apart from their hug you could see joy return to reggie's face. Not that he would be safe from his mother but that his brother still did love and care for him.
"Now i know our mother and i know she didn't do these to you so who did?" the older brother asked his younger sibling curious as to the scratch marks and black and blue eye he had.
"Lestrange. he was teasing me for being friends with muggleborns and he began to say hurtful things about grace so out of anger i punched him but i didn't realize that both of them were they're. Rodolphus and Rabastan. i didn't know what to do so i tried running but one of them cursed me. i was frozen while they did all of this." reggie spoke softly while tracing the scar on his arm.
"oh you poor thing" sarah said while beginning to help grace heal the boy.
"the worst part wasn't the scars or the bearing. it was hearing them talk so badly about you guys and hearing all the lies they said and i couldn't do anything about it. i couldn't tell them to shut up when they said siri was a traitor or when that grace would turn evil and turn her back on her family. they wouldn't stop and i couldn't do anything" regulus spoke while turning around to revel more bruises left by the lestrange brothers.
"oh reggie from now on i'm not letting you out of my sight. if they want to mess with you they're gonna have to go through me" sirius said while trying to tie regulus hair.
"you and me both" grace said while looking at the sight before her. her best friend and her boyfriend were reunited. "but i do have a question for you sirius and james"
"so... what prank shall we play on them?"

the very next day 

"are you sure this will work?" Grace asked sirius as they headed to regulus room to check on him.

"dont worry the lestrange brothers wont realize what hit them, but we still have to talk about us my love. dont try to use this as an excuse." the older boy said while taking graces hand into his own, slightly tracing it to ease him.

with a few turns they reached the younger blacks room. as they entered they found a even more looking regulus. while he was healed his eyes looked powerless. his hair was all over the place while his uniform wasn't on properly. grace and sirius looked at one another before getting to work. sirius combed and tied his little brothers hair while grace fixed his uniform and applied some concealer to make his face look more alive. once they were done they went down for breakfast and to watch the show. sirius went to sit with james at the gryfindor table while regulus and grace went to their normal spot on the slytherin table.

a glass shattering scream scream as two very red boys ran through the great hall. someone had switch their body wash with red dye. their hair, face, even their teeth were painted red. what was more funny was their uniform, it slowly began to change colors and started to turn into a bright shade of red. 

Grace looked at regulus and saw a smile from ear to ear. she was happy, the two boys she cared about most made up. she was happy for the first time in a while.
