You had just awoken amongst the wreckage, the suns unbearable heat rays glistening upon you. You woke up to find yourself strapped to your chair, surprised it managed to save you. You looked at the pilot seat and saw Sky, strapped unconscious, just like you. You made attempt to nudge her, to try and wake her her up, but your safety straps had broken from the crash and you fell to the side of the ship, which was now the bottom.
You slowly crawled over to Sky and took off her straps, carefully carrying her off the chair and outside, where the sun had gotten the worse of you. The temperature had to be at least 90 degrees Fahrenheit out in the desert, your body dripping with sweat. You tried to wake up Sky, but it was no use. Her visor was pitch black and she was limp. You slowly caressed her fur, believing she was gone, until you came across a strange button hidden behind her head.
You pressed the button, and soon after, an alert came up on Sky's visor
"REBOOTING: PLEASE WAIT"
After a few seconds, Sky had woken back up, and smiled upon seeing you
"Y/N?" She asked you
"Sky! You're alive!" You said, hugging her
"You bet I am, I thought I was looking at an angel" Sky said, causing you to blush a bit
You let her go and looked around, letting Sky get up so you could both look around. You saw next to you the wreckage of the ship, and nothing but desert surrounding, not even the facility. You began getting nervous, knowing you were in the middle of nowhere
"What do we do now?" Sky asked
"Get as far from the facility as possible, hopefully finding some civilization" You responded
"Do they think we're dead?" Sky asked yet again
"Hopefully, so they could get off our tails. I mean yours" You respond
"Well, you'd look cute in one" Sky said, making you blush harder
"W-Whatever, let's go" You said, walking away from the wreckage with Sky right behind you
Your trek began. The scorching sun left you and Sky ablaze, forced to walk in 100 degree temperatures with no source of cooling down, and with no shade for miles. There was no water to cool both of you down, no source of civilization, nothing. Eventually, one of you would fall, but would be forced to rise up, starting the cycle all over again.
"Y/N...My cooling systems can't function in these temperatures" Sky said, exhausted as hell
"You're telling me you had a cooling system this entire time?" You said, annoyed over the heat
"I wouldn't be able to help you in any way" Sky said
"No, I'm just annoyed that you survived with a cooling system, while I was forced to use my own sweat to cool me down, and to quench my thirst" You said
"Ew, that's gross" Sky said, grossed out
"You're lucky you don't have to drink" You said
"I do need to eat" Sky said, looking at me
"Are you...gonna eat me?" You asked, concerning Sky
"What kind of animal do you take me for? No I won't eat you! What made you think that?" Sky asks
"I'm sorry, you were just looking weirdly at me when you said you needed to eat, so it was the first thing that came to mind" You responded
"Well, for the first time ever, I think I'm gonna insult you. You're an idiot" Sky said
"I know, pretty dumb of me to think that" You said
"It's a...logical assumption" Sky said
"Really?" You asked
"No, HA!" Sky said, making you annoyed
You walked for hours, drenched in sweat water like if you just finished taking a bath. Your throat was drier than the sand beneath you, and your legs felt like the tiny twigs on the ground. You were about to bust, fall from exhaustion, dehydration and probably many other thing, and as stated earlier, eventually, one of you would fall.
Sky had fallen to the ground, her body being warmer the the temperature around you. You fell to your knees as you kneeled near her, begging for her to wake up, but she didn't this time, not even when pressing the button. You cried on her burning body, believing this time she wouldn't make it, but a cool air blasted on top of you, and looking up, you could see a large ship hovering above you
Was it a ship? No, it was a helicopter!
It landed near you and Sky as three armed silhouettes walked out of the helicopter, one walking towards you. As it got closer, you could see now that the person had the same visor Sky had, and kneeling down, the person greeted you
"Hey there bud, welcome to the desert"
